と、互いにタイミングが異なる二種類の検出用信
号を形成する検出用信号形成手段と、この検出用
信号形成手段からの二種類の検出用信号にそれぞ
れに基づき前記発光素子を駆動して前記ラベル付
台紙の使用切れ状態を検出するためのラベルエン
ド検出用光と前記印字ヘツドが前記プラテンから
離れている状態を検出するためのヘツドアツプ検
出用光とを発光させる駆動回路とよりなることを
