Claims (1)
- 断面略コ字形で第１の巻線を施された磁性材料
からなる第１のコアと、断面が略コ字形で上記第
１のコアより狭いコア幅を有し第２の巻線を施さ
れ上記第１のコアのコア幅の範囲内に位置し上記
第１のコアとループ状磁路を形成するように互い
に突合わされた磁性材料からなる第２のコアと、
上記第２のコアの両側に磁気間隙材を挟んで密接
並置されるとともに上記第１のコアに当接された
磁性材料よりなる２つの第３のコアと、上記第１
のコアと第２のコアの両端の突合せ部の一方にお
いて該第１および第２のコア間およびそこから該
第１のコアと上記第３のコア間に延在して配置さ
れた磁気間隙材とを有し、上記第１のコアを通る
磁束に対しては上記第１のコアのコア幅の全部に
相当する磁気ギヤツプが与えられ、上記第２のコ
アを通る磁束に対しては上記第１のコアのコア幅
の一部に相当する磁気ギヤツプが与えられるよう
な構造を有する磁気ヘツドにおいて、上記第１の
コアはコア幅方向に第１のコア素子を複数積層し
たものであり、上記第３のコアはコア幅方向に第
３のコア素子を複数積層したものであることを特
徴とする磁気ヘツド。
