Abstract

PURPOSE:To send information even to a visually handicapped person or the like by providing a touch sense display means to the receiver. CONSTITUTION:The receiver is provided with a reception section 1 demodulating a reception signal from an antenna, a signal processing section 2 processing reception information demodulated by the reception section 1 so as to be displayed on a display section 3, and the touch sense display section 3 to recognize a character by a touch sense of a hand corresponding to a signal of the reception information from the signal processing section 2. As shown in figure (b), each character of the display section 3 is displayed in a relief in 5X7 dots as shown in figure (b), for example, dots in black are projected. Thus, a character A is recognized through a sense of touch in a hand by touching a display panel by the hand.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a wireless individual paging receiver having an information display function.

[Conventional technology]

Conventional wireless individual paging receivers, for example pagers, have a configuration in which received information is displayed on an LCD.

[Problem to be solved by the invention]

The conventional wireless individual paging receiver described above uses LC to display information.
Since the system uses a visual display means such as D, there is a drawback that people with visual impairments cannot read the information display.

[Means to solve the problem]

The wireless individual paging receiver of the present invention has a tactile display means for displaying display information so that characters can be recognized by the tactile sensation of the hand.
