、サイドシルインナとサイドパネルアウタとでな
るサイドシルを前記フロントピラーと前記サイド
シルインナとの間に空間部を設けて固定してなる
フロントピラーの下部結合構造において、前記フ
ロントピラーと前記サイドシルとの間の前記空間
部分にこの空間部分の一部を閉じて閉断面を形成
するバルクヘツドを設け、前記結合部の中央に上
下方向に延びる突条部を裏面側より車体内側に向
かつて打ち出して設けたことを特徴とするフロン
