Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform printing in a regular printing area and to prevent jamming of paper in a printer device by providing a mechanism for detecting and correcting a slant of a sheet when the sheet is fed from a sheet cassette or a manual insertion slot to an image transfer section during under attraction of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:During printing, when a sheet is fed from a sheet cassette or a manual insertion slot to an image transfer section, if a sheet 5 is attracted with a slant, the right end of a sheet 5 is detected by a right end sensor 4 but the left end of the sheet 5 is not detected by a left end sensor 5. As a result, a mechanism control section delivers an instruction so as to stop the rotation of a right end roller end roller 2 while rotating a left end roller 1 in order to feed the sheet 5, and accordingly, the slant is eliminated. Thereafter, the left end of the sheet 5 is detected by the left end sensor 3, and accordingly, the rollers 1, 2 are operated at an equal rotational speed under the control of the mechanism control section. 斜めになったり転写部あるいは定着ユニット部などでの
紙づまりの原因となっていた。
