Abstract

PURPOSE:To get a plug socket box not requiring fittings or a cover plate by means of construction wherein the locking pawl of a unit-type wiring implement is inserted into a sliding groove to fix a plug socket box. CONSTITUTION:A plug socket box A like a hollow case of a rectangular parallelepiped composed of a body 1 molded of noncombustible plastic and a side cover 2 is equipped with a wiring window 3 at its front and a power supply opening 4 on its bottom. A downward sliding groove 41 is made in the upper edge of the inside of the wiring window 3 and an upward sliding groove 42, in the lower edge of the inside thereof. A plurality of unit type wiring implements 5 are connected to the codes on the power supply side coming out of the hole made in the bottom surface 6, and thereafter, successively inserted into the sliding grooves of the body 1 and then, covered with a side cover 2 and fixed to the bottom surface by use of a fixing plate 10. A plug 7 on the side of the implement is inserted into the unit type wiring implement 5 through the wiring window 3.

Second, conventional mounting brackets are mainly used for wiring in homes, offices, etc., so once they have been installed, they are rarely changed. Therefore, when installing a unit type wiring device, the tip of a screwdriver is inserted and the part is bent to lock the locking claw. When replacing a unit type wiring device, there is a problem in that the mounting bracket itself must be replaced.

In the case of above-floor wiring in a double floor, wiring requirements change each time the layout is redecorated, so wiring equipment must be replaced frequently. Conventional outlet boxes cannot meet these demands.

In order to solve these problems, the present invention fixes a conventionally used unit type wiring device to an outlet box by inserting a locking claw into a slide groove.

What is shown in FIG. 1 is an outlet box A in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped hollow box consisting of a main body 1 and a side cover 2 made of non-combustible plastic.
