The sound source signal is frequency-modulated and amplitude-modulated by the X-axis and Y-axis coordinate voltage signals output from the two-dimensional conversion light-receiving element, and the height and the amplitude are modulated according to the movement of the baton. We proposed a musical tone generator that generates musical tones that vary in size.

Three are installed at appropriate intervals. 12 is 3
This is a drive circuit that sequentially drives the light emitting elements 2 in a time-division manner, and as shown in FIG. let 3 is a two-dimensional conversion light-receiving element that is arranged on the X-Y coordinates of the photodiodes and outputs coordinate voltage signals V x and V y corresponding to the X-axis and Y-axis coordinates of the light spot projected on the surface of the photodiode. The light emitted from the light emitting element 2 at the tip of the baton 1 is projected onto the two-dimensional conversion light receiving element 3 via the convex lens 4 and filter 5 of the optical system. 6
is a voltage controlled oscillation circuit connected to the Y-axis output circuit of the two-dimensional conversion light-receiving element 3 via an amplifier 7, which oscillates a sound source signal of a frequency modulated by the Y-axis coordinate voltage signal Vy . 9 is a voltage controlled amplifier circuit connected to the output side of the voltage controlled oscillation circuit 6, which inputs the coordinate voltage signal V x outputted from the X-axis output circuit of the two-dimensional conversion light receiving element 3 via the amplifier 8, It is connected so that the sound source signal sent from the controlled oscillation circuit 6 is amplitude-modulated by the X-axis coordinate voltage signal V x and this output signal is sent to the speaker 10 .

First, the driving circuit 12 applies time-division pulse signals P1, P2, and P3 shown in FIG. When shaken, the light from the three light-emitting elements 2 is sequentially projected onto the two-dimensional conversion light-receiving element 3 through the optical system, and these light spots travel three types of trajectories in a time-sharing manner as shown in Figure 2. Form. Then, from the two-dimensional conversion light receiving element 3 to the third
Coordinate voltage signals V x and V y as shown in the figure are output, respectively, and the Y-axis coordinate voltage signal V y is amplified by an amplifier 7 and then applied to a voltage controlled oscillation circuit 6.
The X-axis coordinate voltage signal V x is amplified by an amplifier 8,
The signal is sent to the voltage control amplifier circuit 9. The voltage controlled oscillation circuit 6 outputs a sound source signal frequency modulated by the coordinate voltage signal V y , and this sound source signal is sent to the voltage controlled amplifier circuit 9. In the voltage control amplifier circuit 9, the sound source signal is amplitude-modulated by the coordinate voltage signal Vx , and the output is sent to the speaker 10 to generate sound. The height and size of this sound change according to the movement of the tip of the baton 1, but in addition, the three light emitting elements 2 are sequentially driven in a time division manner, and each light point is focused on the two-dimensional conversion light receiving element 3. Because they change discontinuously, the coordinate voltage signals V x and V y change discontinuously at intervals of time t, and a sound whose height and volume slightly change is generated every time t.

The coordinate voltage signal V x ,
V y is created, and the sound source signal is frequency-modulated and amplitude-modulated using two voltage signals to generate musical tones, etc., so the height and size can be easily adjusted by simply shaking the conductor's baton. It is possible to generate different sounds, and by changing the pitch and volume of the sound at regular intervals, it is possible to create light and diverse sounds.
