ケースと、 前記熱交換ユニツトと前記ケースの後板との間
に配設された熱交換器カバーであつて、上下２箇
所で前記熱交換ユニツトの背面とその幅方向にわ
たつて当接して、前記筒状部の背面と該熱交換器
カバーの間の空間を前記熱交換ユニツトと前記ケ
ースの後板の間の空間から仕切るとともに、前記
筒状部に巻き回された前記給水管との間に所定の
間隙を保持する熱交換器カバーと、 前記筒状部の背面と前記熱交換器カバーとの間
の空間に設けられ、所定の温度を越えると燃焼器
の燃焼を停止させる感熱素子と を備えたことを特徴とする給湯器。 (2) 請求項１記載の給湯器の、ケースの後板と
熱交換器カバーとの間にさらに防熱板を配設した
