Claims (1)

ーアーム、前記高速用カムによつて高速用ロツカ
ーアームがそれぞれ駆動されるとともに、エンジ
ンの低速回転域では前記低速用カムの回転に応じ
て前記低速用ロツカーアームにより前記エンジン
の動弁装置に配設されたバルブを開閉駆動し、前
記エンジンの高速回転域では前記高速用カムの回
転に応じた前記高速用ロツカーアームにより前記
バルブを開閉駆動するように前記低速用ロツカー
アームおよび前記高速用ロツカーアームを切換え
操作する切換え操作機構が設けられたバルブタイ
ミング調整装置において、 前記低速用ロツカーアームおよび高速用ロツカ
ーアームのいずれか一方が固定状態、他方が回動
可能に装着されたロツカーシヤフトを設け、この
ロツカーシヤフトに回動可能に装着されたロツカ
ーアームにおける前記ロツカーシヤフトとの接合
面に係合穴、前記ロツカーシヤフト内における前
記係合穴と対応する位置に貫通穴をそれぞれ形成
するとともに、前記貫通穴内に収容された収容位
置から前記係合穴側に突出された突出位置まで突
没自在に装着され、前記突出位置で前記係合穴内
に係脱可能に係合されて前記ロツカーシヤフトと
前記回動可能なロツカーアームとの間を連結状態
に切換える連結ピンを設け、かつ前記バルブの開
閉動作時に前記ロツカーシヤフトに作用する荷重
方向に合わせて前記貫通穴の中心線方向を設定し
