In order to alleviate this problem, it is preferable to use a material that is as soft as possible. In addition, since the catheter is in contact with the visceral wall for a long period of time, if the material is hard, there is a risk of necrosis of the tissue of the visceral wall, and for this reason as well, it is desirable that the catheter be made of a soft plastic tube. However, in order to insert these soft tubes into the stomach and intestines, which have large curvatures, they must be passed through the nasal cavity, through the larynx, which has a narrow passageway, and through the esophagus.Catheters made from soft plastic tubes are weak and difficult to insert. be.

First, the catheter was made of a plastic sheath that had longitudinal tear lines along its entire length and had higher elasticity and rigidity than the catheter. The catheter is inserted and stored inside the tube, and the sheath tube is inserted into the stomach or intestine, making it extremely easy to insert the catheter into the nasal cavity. After insertion, the catheter is held between the clamping plates of the fixture outside the nasal cavity. If the sheath tube, which is loosely supported by the support plate of the fixture, is torn vertically from the part that passes through the support plate, the sheath tube will naturally be pulled upwards, leaving only the catheter in the gastrointestinal tract. It is designed so that it can be kept as it is inside.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of the catheter for nasal insertion of the present invention, in which 1 is an extremely soft catheter as described above, and the tip has a weight body 2.
There is a side hole (not shown) slightly above the weight body 2 for supplying nutrient solution. Reference numeral 3 denotes a sheath tube made of plastic with slightly higher elasticity and rigidity than the catheter, into which the catheter 1 is slidably inserted and housed. There is. The tear line 4 is thinner than other parts, or is made of another material.

Support plates 8 having sheath tube support grooves 7 for loosely supporting the catheter (into which the catheter 1 is inserted) are positioned parallel to each other at small intervals, and a connecting plate 9 is fixed between them. Catheter 1
In the space between the catheter holding plate 6 and the sheath tube support plate 8, which securely hold
When the sheath tube is torn into two pieces 3a and 3b from the vertical tear line 4 (there are two tear lines in this example), the tip of the sheath tube is naturally easily pulled upwards, and finally only the catheter 1 is left. It remains inserted into the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, the catheter can be inserted into the gastrointestinal tract very easily, and FIG.
is set, and the sheath tube 3 is torn into two pieces 3a and 3b by the tear line 4 between the clamping plate and the support plates 6 and 8 as shown in FIG. 2 through the fixture B outside the nasal cavity. The distal end of the sheath tube 3 rises, and the sheath tube can finally be completely removed, and only the catheter 1 can be securely clamped and fixed in the clamping groove 5 of the clamping plate 6. C is the human body.

A catheter made of a soft plastic tube can be inserted into the gastrointestinal tract extremely easily and safely, and is more convenient than conventional catheters and causes far less pain and risk to the patient. It is.

きるものである。 Note that a catheter inserted into a plastic sheath tube can be inserted into the gastrointestinal tract even if it does not have a weight at the end. This is because the sheath tube has appropriate elasticity and rigidity, so that even if the sheath tube is pulled up while being torn as described above, the catheter will not be pulled up together with the sheath tube. For example, there are methods such as using a material made to reduce sliding resistance by making the inner wall of the sheath tube or the surface of the catheter grainy, or using a lubricant. Further, the number of tear lines on the sheath tube does not necessarily have to be two as shown in the figure, and the purpose of tearing can be achieved with just one tear line.

の固定具により省人的にも効果がある。 In this invention, since the above-mentioned fixing device B is used, this operation can be performed by one person.Since the catheter 1 is firmly clamped and fixed in the clamping groove 5 of the catheter clamping plate, tearing can also be carried out by one staff. This is possible and extremely convenient, and the low-cost fixture according to the invention also saves manpower.
