Many oil burners use batteries as a power source for ignition, and because mobility is important for these types of devices, automatic fire extinguishing systems are also fire extinguishing systems that operate using the stored power of mechanical springs. is installed. However, recently, even this type of oil combustor uses this ignition battery as a power source to detect the amount of oil in the oil tank and issue an alarm, detect the combustion status, notify the operator of an abnormality, and operate an automatic fire extinguishing system. There are some that use a turbo fan to suck the air around the wick when extinguishing a fire, which is expected to have a protective effect and the effect of promoting fire extinguishing. It cannot be used for oil combustion.

When the battery is exhausted or if the battery is removed from the beginning, the ignition operation becomes impossible and the oil combustor cannot be used as described above, but if the battery is removed after the ignition operation, the oil combustor cannot be used. As the combustion continues, it is often mistaken for the various functions installed in the device to be activated.In recent years, battery power has been developed to notify the operator of changes from the normal combustion state, and to automatically activate safe operation. This is extremely important for those who do this. Currently, no improvement proposals have been made for this type of problem. [Means to solve the problem] The battery is a necessary part to light up the alarm lamp, and if the battery is removed, The means to alert operators has been cut off. This invention solves the above problem by automatically extinguishing the oil burner when the battery is removed.
1 is a combustor frame, 2 is a battery box attached to the combustor frame 1, and a battery 3 is installed inside. Reference numeral 4 denotes an automatic fire extinguishing system for an oil combustor. The automatic fire extinguishing system 4 shown in the figure is related to a wick up-and-down type oil combustor equipped with a double-tube type combustion tube 11, and has a spring and a gear 13 on a wick up-down shaft 12. is attached, and a stopper 9 meshes with the gear 13. When the core vertical shaft 12 rotates in the centering direction, the spring (not shown) is wound up.
The stopper 9 and the gear 13 mesh to maintain the centering position. 8 is a vibration-sensitive weight, and the vibration-sensitive weight 8 is linked with other parts of the stopper 9 to move the stopper 9 when the vibration-sensitive weight 8 falls down. For this reason, the gear 13 and the stopper 9 are disengaged, and the core vertical shaft 12 is rotated in the core lowering direction by a spring (not shown), thereby performing an automatic extinguishing operation.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a battery detection member that is biased inwardly of the battery box 2 by a spring 14;
has a protruding tip at the position where it contacts battery 3,
When the battery 3 is installed in the battery box 2, the battery detection member 5 is pressed and moved. 6 is a rotating plate attached to the tip of the battery detection member 5, and when one end of the rotating plate 6 is pressed, the rotating plate 6 only rotates, the battery detection member 5 does not move, and both ends are pressed at the same time. When the battery detection member 5 is moved, the battery detection member 5 moves. Both ends of the rotating plate 6 are pressed by different batteries 3 installed in the battery box 2, and when two batteries 3 are installed, the battery detection member 5 detects the installation of the battery 3. and move.

Reference numeral 7 denotes a bearing for a moving battery detection member 5, and the battery detection member 5 has one end facing the battery 3 and the other end facing the vibration sensing weight 8 of the automatic fire extinguishing system 4 via the bearing 7. . Therefore, when the battery 3 is attached to the battery box 2 against the spring 14 of the battery detection member 5, the battery detection member 5 moves away from the vibration-sensitive weight 8, and the battery 3 is removed from the battery box 2. When removed, the battery detection member 5 pushes down the vibration-sensitive weight 8,

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the battery detection member 5 is not directly linked to the automatic fire extinguishing device 4, but is linked via a connecting member, and 10 is a connecting member attached to the stopper 9 of the automatic fire extinguishing device 4. It is a flexible wire, and a battery detection member 5 is attached to the other end of the flexible wire 10. Therefore, when the battery 3 is not installed in the battery box 2, the flexible wire 10 is pulled by the spring 14 and the stopper 9 and the gear 13 are separated, so that the automatic fire extinguishing system is in the extinguishing position. Note that in the automatic fire extinguishing system 4 of the embodiment, the stopper 9 and the vibration-sensitive weight 8 are directly interlocked, but in an automatic fire extinguishing system in which an interlocking member is interposed in the middle, a flexible wire 10 is attached to the interlocking member instead of the stopper 9. The operation will be exactly the same.

The oil combustor is used in the same way as conventional products; in the one shown in the figure, the wick is raised by rotating the wick vertical shaft 12, and combustion is started by an ignition device powered by a battery 3. The oil combustor is equipped with an oil amount detecting device in the oil tank, a combustion detecting device in the combustion section, etc., using the battery 3 as a power source, and these devices are used to send a warning to the operator or extinguish the oil combustor.

In addition, the oil combustor is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing device 4 that is activated by the stored force of a spring, similar to conventional products, so that if the vibration-sensitive weight 8 falls due to a shock such as an earthquake, the oil combustor will be activated without having to manually lower the core. extinguishes the fire.

Therefore, in this invention, a battery detection section 5 that is connected to an automatic fire extinguishing device is installed inside the battery box 2, and the battery box 2
When the battery 3 is installed inside, the battery detection part 5 is pressed, the battery detection part 5 and the automatic fire extinguishing device 4 are free, and the automatic fire extinguishing device 4 is activated by the vibration-sensitive weight 8. ing. Also, when the battery 3 is removed from the battery box 2, the battery detection unit 5 detects the battery box 2.
The other end moves the vibration-sensitive weight 8 down or moves the stopper 9, and the automatic fire extinguishing device 4 goes to the extinguishing position, making it impossible to use the oil combustor.

As described above, in this invention, when the battery in the battery box is removed, the oil combustor automatically goes to the extinguishing position, so if the battery is removed, the oil combustor cannot be used, and if the battery is removed during combustion. Sometimes oil burners end up extinguishing.

For this reason, when using an ignition battery to notify the operator of an abnormality in the oil combustor, in order to extend the life of the battery, very little current is passed at all times, and a large current is used only in the event of an abnormality to trigger an alarm or safety operation. If the battery is removed while the oil combustor is in use, the oil combustor will continue to burn and even if an abnormality occurs, it will not be possible to notify the operator of the abnormality, but with this invention, if the battery is removed, Since the oil combustor immediately extinguishes the fire, the above-mentioned problems do not occur and it is now possible to provide an extremely safe oil combustor.
