Roads and railroad tracks adjacent to cliffs are at risk of unexpected damage from falling rocks from the cliffs, and for this reason, rock fall prevention fences are generally installed at the lower part of the slope of the cliff at such locations. This prevention fence catches falling rocks and prevents damage from occurring.

However, conventional rockfall prevention fences of this type have a rigid structure that is built directly into the ground on a slope.
For this reason, the impact of falling rocks is applied directly to the entire fence, which causes it to break relatively quickly, making it difficult to maintain durability. In addition, when constructing the fence, it is necessary to construct the fence using concrete, etc., on the sloped ground. Because the foundation must be built, the work is time-consuming and costs increase. Furthermore, when falling rocks or earth and sand accumulate inside the prevention fence, there is a problem in that it becomes quite troublesome to dispose of it, and furthermore, once it is installed, it is impossible to relocate it.

This invention was made with attention to these points, and its purpose is to have excellent durability,
To provide a suspended rockfall prevention fence that is easy to construct, allows easy disposal of falling rocks and earth, and can be easily moved to another location or removed as required.

That is, in this invention, a fence body is constructed by stretching a wire mesh on a fence frame, and this fence body is installed almost perpendicularly to the slope of a cliff so as to be able to slide freely, and this fence body has a wire mesh attached to the top side of the slope. A protruding support for preventing collapse is provided, support wire ropes are led out from the upper and lower parts of the fence body, the hanging wire rope is lowered from the upper part of the slope, and the supporting wire is attached to the hanging wire rope. The fence is supported by connecting ropes to catch falling rocks.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a fence body, and this fence body 1 combines a plurality of vertical beams 2 and horizontal beams 3, each made of steel, in a lattice shape to form an integrated fence frame 4. A wire mesh 5 is stretched over the area. and,
A flat support plate 6 is attached to the lower end of each vertical rail 2, and a support 7 is provided diagonally downward from approximately the middle of each vertical rail 2 toward one side of the fence frame 4. , so that the tips of these supports 7... are arranged on the same plane as the support plates 6...
Similarly, a flat support plate 8 is attached.
Further, from the upper and lower ends of the fence frame 4, a plurality of metal support wire ropes 9 are led out at regular intervals.

10 is, for example, a slope of a cliff facing along the road,
The above-mentioned fence body 1 is arranged at a portion slightly below the middle stage of this inclined surface 10. This fence body 1 has supports 7 facing the upper end side of the inclined surface 10, and each support plate 6

On the other hand, at the upper end of the inclined surface 10, a plurality of anchors 11 are provided at regular intervals in the lateral direction, and metal hanging wire ropes 12 are respectively hooked to these anchors 11. Hanging wire ropes 12 are lowered along the slope 10. And these hanging wire ropes 12

The supporting wire ropes 9 of the fence body 1 are connected through the fence body 1, and thereby the fence body 1 is supported so as to be disposed approximately at right angles to the inclined surface 10.

Therefore, if a rock falls from the upper end side of the slope 10, it will be caught by the fence 1 while rolling on the slope 10. At this time, since the fence body 1 is supported in a suspended state by the support wire ropes 9... and the suspension wire ropes 12..., the entire fence body 1 is moved to support the support plates 6..., 8... in response to the collision of falling rocks. The support wire ropes 9... and the suspension wire ropes 12... are elastically stretched, and
This elastic elongation reduces the impact on the fence 1, thereby preventing damage to the fence 1 and improving durability. In addition, there is a risk that fence body 1 will shake due to falling rocks, but this fence body 1 has support 7

Since it is in contact with the inclined surface 10 via the slanted surface 10, it is prevented from inadvertently falling down.

Furthermore, such a rock fall prevention fence is not built into the ground, but simply supports the fence body 1 installed on the slope 10 with the supporting wire ropes 9 and the hanging wire ropes 12, so it is easy to construct. It is simple and extremely advantageous both in terms of work and economy. When falling rocks or earth and sand accumulate inside the fence body 1, the fence body 1 is lifted up by a crane or the like and its lower edge is floated off the slope 10, so that it can be easily disposed of. Further, the fence body 1 can be easily removed or relocated to another location if necessary. Note that this rock fall prevention fence also works effectively against falling objects other than stones or avalanches.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the impact of a falling rock can be alleviated by utilizing the elastic elongation of the supporting wire rope and the hanging wire rope, thereby improving durability. Since the fence body is simply supported by support wire ropes and hanging wire ropes, construction is easy and is advantageous both in terms of work and economy.Furthermore, it is easy to dispose of falling rocks and earth and sand, and it is easy to use when necessary. This has the advantage that it can be easily removed or relocated as needed. The fence installed on the slope of a cliff is equipped with a support that protrudes from the top of the slope to prevent collapse, so the fence is stably supported on the slope and prevents accidental damage. Lodging is reliably prevented.
