(Industrial Application Field) This invention relates to a naturally disintegrating polymer composition. More specifically, the present invention relates to a naturally disintegrating polymer composition useful as a resin molding material or a resin molded article that has excellent environmental protection properties. (Conventional technology and its issues) Interest in the issue of global environmental protection is increasing worldwide, and a global consensus has been formed on various environmental protection regulations, as well as in various fields of daily social life. Scientific and technical studies for environmental pollution countermeasures are being actively pursued. Countermeasures against waste plastics have become an important subject for such consideration, and research into photodegradable polymers and biodegradable polymers is actively progressing as an alternative to various types of difficult-to-degrade plastics. There are also people who are suffering. For example, Ecostar, which is said to be made of polyethylene and starch, is known as such a degradable polymer composition. However, major problems still remain with respect to what is known as such a degradable composition. For example, in the case of Ecostar mentioned above, even after the starch is biodegraded, the polyethylene remains in an undegraded state, which is a problem even in the United States, where it has already been commercialized. The reason for this is that polyethylene is not easily attacked by microorganisms because it is not reduced in molecular weight. This Ecostar attempts to form a composition with conventional plastics by blending so-called biodegradable polymers, but because it uses conventional difficult-to-degradable polymers, it causes environmental pollution. At present, we are far from achieving the intended goal of prevention. On the other hand, the idea of actively using biodegradable polymers in plastic molded products has been proposed, and in fact, the use of microbial-produced polyesters, polycaprolactone, etc. is being considered. However, these biosynthetic and biodegradable polymers known so far have drawbacks in terms of cost and other aspects. Under these circumstances, interest in so-called photodegradable polymers is increasing, or the biodegradability of photodegradable polymers after photodegradation has not been sufficiently investigated. This invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to eliminate the drawbacks of conventional degradable polymer compositions and provide a new polymer composition that has far superior spontaneous disintegration. The purpose is (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a naturally degradable polymer composition characterized by comprising a photodegradable polymer and a biodegradable polymer. do. That is, the composition of the present invention is characterized in that the photodegradable polymer is easily photodegraded by exposure to sunlight outdoors, and the entire composition undergoes biodegradation and is incorporated into natural systems. There is. Photodegradable polymers are decomposed by light irradiation and become low-molecular molecules, and this low-molecularization allows microorganisms that use biodegradable polymers as a nutrient source to easily biodegrade them. Various types of photodegradable polymers can be used in the composition of the present invention, but from the viewpoint of promoting biodegradation after photodegradation and photodegradability, ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer, vinyl ketone/vinyl Suitable examples include monomer copolymers and the like. Suitable biodegradable polymers include natural polysaccharides such as starch, polycaprolactone, polyvinyl alcohol, polyurethane, and polyester. The blending ratio of these photodegradable polymers and biodegradable polymers can be appropriately selected in consideration of the characteristics of photodegradation and biodegradation, and depending on the intended use of the composition. The composition may optionally contain a colorant, a light absorber, a thickener,
Bulking agents, reinforcing materials, other additives, and fillers can be blended as appropriate. These blended compositions can then be molded into a desired shape by various molding methods such as injection, extrusion, casting, and vacuum pressing. (Function) According to the present invention, a naturally degradable polymer composition with high photodegradability and biodegradability can be realized. This composition provides a resin that is excellent in environmental pollution prevention effects and can be used as a resin molding material or molded article for various industries, agriculture, etc., including packaging materials. (Example) Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer (commercially available) was used as a photodegradable polymer, and biodegradable starch was blended with this to prepare a composition. This composition was formed into a film (thickness: approximately 50 μm) using a vacuum press. The molding conditions are a temperature of approximately 140℃.
°C1 vacuum 10-'mmHg and pressurization 50 kg/cnf. This material was placed under sunlight exposure and its natural disintegration property was evaluated. Figure 1 shows the results. This FIG. 1 shows the following. A: Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer (1%) B: To A,
Composition C blended with 10% starch: Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer (3%) D: Composition E blended with C and 10% starch: Polyethylene as a comparative example F: As a comparative example, Composition containing 10% starch in E. As is clear from this Figure 1, even in the composition of this invention containing biodegradable starch, the photodegradability of the ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer is low. It shows better performance without being hindered. It can be seen that it exhibits much greater degradability than conventional polyethylene. In addition, as can be seen from the results shown in FIG. 1, it is also possible to control the degradability by changing the carbon monoxide content of the ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer.

This composition provides a resin that is excellent in environmental pollution prevention effects and can be used as a resin molding material or molded article for various industries, agriculture, etc., including packaging materials. (Example) Example 1 Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymers (commercially available) with carbonyl group (CO) concentrations of 1 mol% and 3 mol% were used as photodegradable polymers, and biodegradable A composition was prepared by blending the starch of the same type. The starch was hydrophobically treated with a silane coupling agent and added at a rate of 10% by weight using a kneader at a temperature of 150°C. This composition was formed into a film (thickness: approximately 50 μm) using a vacuum press. The molding conditions are a temperature of approximately 140℃.
℃, a reduced pressure of 10'mmHg, and an increased pressure of 50 kg/cnf. This material was placed under sunlight exposure and its natural disintegration property was evaluated. The test stand was approximately 60 cm in height, set at an elevation angle of 30° from the horizontal plane, and set up so that the slope faced due south. Positive collapse was evaluated as a decrease in elongation at break by a tensile test. Figure 1 shows the results. This FIG. 1 shows the following. A: Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer (1%) B: To A,
Composition C containing 10% starch: Composition E containing 10% starch in ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer (3%) D20: Polyethylene as a comparative example F: As a comparative example, As is clear from Figure 1, the elongation at break of the ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer was significantly reduced, and the sample with a high carbon monoxide concentration had a lower proportion. You can see that it's big. Almost similar results were obtained when starch was added. This shows that when a biodegradable polymer is blended as in the present invention, both photodegradation and biodegradation can be promoted without impairing photodegradability. Furthermore, it can be seen that it exhibits much greater degradability than conventional polyethylene. Furthermore, as is clear from the results shown in FIG. 1, it is also possible to control the degradability by adjusting the carbon monoxide content of the ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer. Example 2 An ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer having a carbonyl group (CQ) concentration of 1 mol % as in Example 1 was blended with 10 wt % starch to form a film with a thickness of 50 μm. This product was used in an outdoor burial test to evaluate biodegradability. The samples were divided into those that were exposed to light for 24 hours and those that were not exposed to light for 24 hours in the same manner as in Example 1.
It was cut out to a size of 6 cm x 6 cm and buried at a depth of 5 cm from the ground. Biodegradability was evaluated based on the weight change of the sample. Figure 2 shows the results together with a comparative example in which no starch was added. The symbols in the figure indicate the following. G: Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer HOG that has been exposed to light for 24 hours in advance ■ = Ethylene/carbon monoxide copolymer and starch J: ■ that has been exposed to light for 24 hours in advance 1 and J of this invention are It can be seen that it has excellent degradability, and in particular, when it is exposed to light in advance (J), the biodegradability is also greatly improved. Example 3 Using the same sample as in Example 2, an indoor burial test was conducted. Each sample was cut into 1 x 2 cm pieces, placed in a plastic container, covered with soil, and placed in an incubator at a temperature of 32°C. Figure 3 shows the results. It can be seen that the composition of this invention also has good biodegradability. In particular, those that have been exposed to light (J)
It can be seen that biodegradation is greatly promoted because the molecules are reduced by photolysis.
