Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive a way to apply a uniform coat by a method wherein a flow coater is located in a high position and a coating material of a low viscosity is dropped therefrom, when the coating film is applied vertically from above to the ribs and roots of a flat sheet roofing material moving at a constant speed in the direction at right angles to the surface of the ribbed sheet roofing. CONSTITUTION:A coating film 3 is dropped vertically from above onto the ribbed surface 4 of a flat sheet roofing material 1 moving at a constant speed in the direction at right angles to the ribbed surface 4 of the flat sheet roofing material 1. In the aforesaid coating method, a flow coater 2 is located in a higher position, preferably to a height of about 150-380mm from the surface of the flat sheet roofing material 1, i.e., about 1.5-3 times the conventional height and the coating film 3 to be applied is kept at a lower viscosity than in the conventional method, preferably from about 8 to 9 seconds/IHS. As a result, a uniform coat can be applied to the surface of the sheet roofing material having the ribs and roots on its surface.

For example, in the coating method shown in FIG. 4, the substrate of the flat roofing material (A) is moved in the direction of the arrow in the figure, and the paint (E) is dripped from a flow coater (E) placed above it. The dripping of paint (e) onto the non-exposed areas (i) of the flat roofing material (a) is blocked, and paint (e) is applied only to the exposed areas (i).

When trying to paint a flat roofing material (ri) having a coating (g), move the flat roofing material (ri) in the orthogonal direction and drip the paint (e) from the flow coater (1) above it, as shown in Figure 6. As shown in Figure 2, the film thickness of the paint (E) is different between the front and rear of the convex part (E) in the direction of travel indicated by the arrow in the figure, and the paint (E) is unevenly applied only to the front. The problem is that the paint (e) is not sufficiently applied to the rear.

This invention was made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and it solves the drawbacks of the conventional coating method for flat plate roofing materials having an uneven surface, and provides a coating method for flat roofing materials having an uneven surface. The object of the present invention is to provide an improved coating method that can uniformly apply paint to a surface and also allows partial coating.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems by providing an upward direction for a flat roofing material having an uneven surface and moving at a constant speed in a direction perpendicular to the uneven surface. To provide a coating method for a flat plate roofing material, which is characterized by disposing a flow coater at a higher position and dropping a low-viscosity coating in a coating method in which a coating film is dropped parallel to a more uneven surface.

(Function) In the method for painting flat roofing materials of the present invention, when a paint film is dripped from a flow coater parallel to the uneven surface of the flat roofing material having an uneven surface, the flow coater is installed. By setting the position higher than before and making the dripping paint lower in viscosity, the film thickness of the paint on the uneven surface is always made uniform, and the finished appearance of the flat plate roofing material is improved.

Furthermore, since the paint film can be dripped orthogonally to the uneven surface of flat roofing materials that move in a certain direction at a constant speed, it is possible to partially paint the surface and rationalize the use of materials.

For example, as shown in FIG. 1, in the method of the present invention, the flat roofing material (1) is moved at a constant speed in the direction of the arrow in the figure, and the paint film (3) is transferred from the flow coater (2) installed above. ) is dripped parallel to the uneven surface (4) of the flat roofing material (1). In this case, the installation position of the flow coater (2) is higher than that of the conventional method, preferably on the flat plate roofing material (1).
1.5 to 3 times higher than the conventional method, which is about 150 to 3801 nff+, and the paint dropped as a paint film (3) has a lower viscosity than the conventional method, more preferably 8 to 9 seconds/1. .. Approximately H and S. Furthermore, it is preferable to increase the amount of paint applied by slowing down the transition speed of the flat roofing material (1) from the normal speed, for example, by increasing the amount of paint applied.
The speed is 0 m/min, and the coating amount is approximately 85±5 g/r+.
