(Problem to be solved by the invention) Conventional wallpapers of this type that are layered with foamable fine particles generally use the surface roughness caused by the layering of foamable fine particles as the surface condition. Considering its condition, the texture of the surface of the wallpaper varies depending on the elasticity of each fine piece and the height of its protrusion above the mount, and it largely depends on the material of the fine piece and its particle size. When the particle size is small, the gaps between the fine particles become smaller and the rough texture becomes less tactile.
Visually, the unevenness of the surface is reduced, the overall thickness of the wallpaper is thinner, and the wallpaper lacks a sense of solidity.

This invention has been made in view of the above points, and the purpose is to provide wallpaper that exhibits a unique soft texture without a rough texture while maintaining the solid feel of wallpaper.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The gist of this invention to achieve the above object is that in the wallpaper formed by layering fine foam pieces on the mount surface via an adhesive, The wallpaper is characterized in that the upper ends of fine grain pieces are ground to an appropriate height to form a flat ground surface.

(Function) Therefore, according to the wallpaper of this invention, the solid feel of wallpaper is maintained by using foamable fine particles with a relatively large particle size, and approximately Countless short curly hairs are formed on the leveled surface that is leveled and leveled at the same height, and these, combined with the elasticity of the fine grained material, create a surface that is as soft as touching the lining of natural leather. It has a pleasant tactile feel.

In the figure, 1 is a mount, 2 is a foamable fine granule piece made of a synthetic resin material etc. that is adhered to the 1 side of the mount via an adhesive 3, and many of these foamable granules 2 are on the 1 side of the mount. They are arranged close to each other in a dense and irregular manner, and are adhered by a well-known method so as to be substantially in one layer.

It should be noted that the expandable fine particles 2 used in this invention do not necessarily have to have the same particle size as a whole, but most of them should have a relatively large particle size, and from a practical point of view, it is necessary to In this case, a diameter of about 0.8 to 2 mm is preferable.

After adhering the foamable fine particles 2 to the mount 1 as described above, a leveling roller 4 has a layer of fine diamond sand 5 on its circumferential surface by, for example, pasting sandpaper, as shown in FIG. The upper end portions of the fine grain pieces 2 protruding onto the mount 1 are leveled by the leveling roller 4 at approximately the same height position, so that each fine grain piece 2 is flattened. A smooth cut surface 7 is formed.

In this case, a precise clearance adjustment is made between the leveling roller 4 and the presser roller 6 to set the leveling height position for the fine particles 2, and the leveling roller 4 operates at a much higher speed than the wallpaper feeding speed. Processing is performed under rotation, and if necessary, this leveling process is performed not only once but multiple times by changing the feeding direction of the wallpaper.

(Effects) As explained above, the wallpaper of this invention is made by using a leveling machine to level out the upper ends of the foam particles on the surface of the wallpaper made by a well-known method. It forms a shaved surface, and countless short curly hairs are naturally formed on this shaved surface, so the wallpaper has almost no rough texture. Its presence gives it a soft fibrous feel, almost like touching the lining of natural leather, and in addition to this, the elasticity of the material itself gives it a fluffy depth, and the particle size of the fine particles is relatively large. Because it is made of natural leather, it is not one-dimensional like natural leather, and visually the surface has large irregularities and has a solid feel, and from the viewpoint of wallpaper production, it is not particularly expensive and is of high quality. It is highly versatile and can be used not only as wallpaper but also in various fields such as interior materials for automobiles and other vehicles, album covers, etc.
