ず、従つて、その位置設定が極めて難しくて、十
分な経験を積んだ熟練者にしか出来ず、又、熟練
者でも同じ性状のものは2つとないとさえ言われ
る位、性状差の激しい木材に対しては、常に適切
な圧縮力を与えることは不可能で、設定位置が遠
過ぎるために圧縮力が不足して亀裂を生じたり、
近すぎるために圧縮力が過大となつて、座屈を生
じたりする問題点があつた。

となるだけでなく、液圧による押し付けは、圧力
の一定保持、段階的或いは無段階的な増加、比例
的増加等多様的に変化させて、材種や製品形状そ
の他の条件によつて、様々に変る圧縮力の調整を
公知の自動弁の選定により任意に行い、あらゆる
材料、製品に対して、亀裂、座屈等の欠陥がない
曲木製品を容易に製造し得る特有の効果を有する
ものである。
