- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 磁気テープに情報を記録する記録手段と、 前記磁気テープのエンドを検出するエンド検出
手段と、 前記記録手段の下流側であつて、かつ、前記エ
ンド検出手段の上流側に配置され、前記磁気テー
プを、その走行路がより長くなる第１の位置と、
より短くなる第２の位置で規制する走行路規制手
段と、 前記エンド検出手段の出力に対応して前記走行
路規制手段を、前記第１の位置から第２の位置に
移動させる移動手段と、 前記エンド検出手段の出力に対応して、前記磁
気テープに記録する信号のレベルを徐々に減衰す
るレベル制御手段とを備えることを特徴とする磁
気記録装置。
