BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, as an electric contact that is implanted in an electric connector or the like and is connected to an electric wire without soldering, there has been a pressure contact or a crimp type contact. The pressure contact type has a pressure contact piece that forms a pressure contact slit,
The coated electric wire is placed in the pressure welding slit and is directly pressed against the pressure welding slit without peeling off the coating, so that the core wire is brought into contact with the slit edge of the pressure welding slit. In addition, a crimp-type contact is used to perform crimp connection by peeling off a portion of the coating at the tip of an electric wire and crushing the crimp piece of the contact against the exposed core wire.

The above-mentioned pressure-welding type contacts are limited in current capacity because the contact area of the core wire with the pressure-welding piece is smaller than that of the crimp-type contact. However, the pressure-welding process is relatively easy. Therefore, it is cheap. Furthermore, since it is possible to connect wires in mass production, it is often used for signal lines with a large number of circuits and a small current capacity in electronic equipment and the like.
On the other hand, crimp type contacts have a large current capacity and are therefore mainly used in power lines.

In recent electronic devices, high-density packaging is required, which creates a need for signal lines and power lines to be randomly arranged within the same connector. At that time, the press-fit type contact and the crimp-type contact are constructed as separate bodies, and since their configurations are completely different, the structure of the contact receiving hole of the connector is also different, making it difficult to arrange the signal lines and power lines randomly. do not have. Therefore, in order to meet usage requirements, it is necessary to prepare many types of specific connectors and contacts, resulting in high costs, and the large number of types of connectors and contacts makes it difficult to manage them. It was becoming.

If you want to change the signal line and power line in a mounted circuit to which a connector is attached, the connector of the mounted circuit must be removed and replaced with another connector, which takes time and increases costs. Furthermore, it has been difficult to maintain the mounted circuits.

In response to users' requests for a variety of wire connection combinations, we visually check and select the contacts one by one, manually connect the various wires to the contacts, and then attach them to the connector housing. Since the installation is done manually, it takes a lot of time and costs are high.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional electric contact, the present invention has a contact part for connecting with the other contact at the front part and a connecting part for connecting the electric wire at the rear part. In the electrical contact, the connection part has a pressure welding part in the front part having a pressure welding piece that bites into the sheath of the electric wire and comes into contact with the core wire, and a rear part of the pressure contact part which is crushed and has an exposed core wire of the electric wire. a crimping part having a crimping piece to be crimped, the position of the crimping wire of the crimping piece and the crimping wire position of the crimping piece are substantially on the same line, and the crimping part has a plurality of crimping pieces that are crimped to each other in a longitudinal direction. The pressure contact grooves of each pressure contact piece are arranged in parallel, and the pressure contact grooves of each pressure contact piece are formed to gradually become wider toward those located at the rear.

According to the present invention configured as described above, when it is desired to connect an electric wire to a contactor by pressure contact, the end of the wire is connected by pressure contact with the pressure contact piece provided at the front of the connection section, and also the wire is connected by pressure contact. When it is desired to do so, the core wire of the electric wire, whose coating is removed at the tip and the core wire is exposed, is brought to the crimping section and the crimp piece is crushed to complete the connection. Pressure or crimp connections are selectively made on the same line. Further, when performing the above-mentioned pressure welding connection, depending on the thickness of the core wire of the electric wire, a thin wire is pressure welded by a pressure welding piece at the front, and a thick one is welded by a pressure welding piece at the rear. In addition, during the above-mentioned pressure-welding piece connection, the crimp piece can be used for the purpose of holding the electric wire in the covering part at a rear position of the pressure-welding part.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG.
It is also possible to connect the signal wire 80 and the signal wire 80 to the same contactor 1. That is, after crimping the core wire 61 of the power supply wire 60 with the crimping portion 20B of the contact, for example, the signal wire 80 is pressure-connected to the first pressure-welding piece 21,
Further, the power supply wire 60 and the signal wire 80 are overlapped and held together at the covering holding portion 20C. By connecting in this way, the power supply line and the signal line are connected to the same contact, and high-density packaging can be achieved.

It is now possible to freely connect relatively thin signal wires or relatively thick power wires with the same contact, so it is possible to connect various signal lines with the same connector according to the user's requirements. Power lines can be combined. Therefore, there is no need to prepare special or various types of connectors and contacts, which is convenient for use, and it is also economically advantageous because the amount of stock can be suppressed.
