2. Description of the Related Art A conventional fluorescent display tube, as shown in FIG. , the phosphor layer 5 is coated and formed to form an anode substrate, and then the phosphor layer 5 is formed by coating.
A fluorescent display tube was obtained by arranging a grid 6 and a filament 7 at opposite positions, and further sealing a cover glass 8 made of light-transmitting colorless glass to an anode substrate and vacuum-sealing. Note that the cover glass 8 is composed of a spacer section 81 and a display surface section 82 forming a side surface.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventional fluorescent display tubes are
Since the spacer part that forms the side surface of the cover glass is made of translucent colorless glass, external light around the fluorescent display tube (e.g.
During mounting, the visibility of the display is impaired because light emitted from the light emitting elements set around the spacer passes through the spacer section and enters the fluorescent display tube. There is a problem in that the light emitted leaks from the spacer portion, resulting in a problem that impairs the visibility of other light emitting elements.

The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the visibility of display due to the entry of light emitted from other light emitting elements in the periphery, which occurs during set mounting, and the visibility of other light emitting elements in the periphery due to the leakage of light. It is an object of the present invention to provide a fluorescent display tube that can prevent both deterioration of the fluorescent display tube.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention includes a glass substrate, an electrode layer formed on the glass substrate, a phosphor layer coated on the electrode layer, and a wiring layer connected to the electrode layer. An anode substrate, a filament stretched across the phosphor layer at intervals, a grid placed between the filament and the phosphor layer, and a spacer portion are sealed to the anode substrate to form a vacuum-tight container. The fluorescent display tube has a structure in which a light-shielding film made of light-shielding colored glass is formed on at least a part of the spacer portion.

In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, first, a wiring layer 2 of Al is formed on a glass substrate 1, an insulating layer 3 covering the wiring layer 2, and a phosphor layer 5. An electrode layer 4 and a phosphor layer 5, which serve as a base, are sequentially coated to form an anode substrate. Furthermore, a grid 6 and a filament 7 are arranged at a position facing the phosphor layer 5.

As explained above, the fluorescent display tube of the present invention has a structure in which a light-shielding film made of light-shielding colored glass is coated on at least a part of the spacer portion constituting the side surface of the cover glass. When mounted as a set, the entry of light generated from other light emitting elements in the surrounding area is suppressed to 10% or less (compared to conventional models), and the visibility of the display is not impaired. It is also possible to prevent leakage to other light-emitting elements, and there is an effect that the visibility of the display of other surrounding light-emitting elements is not impaired.
