Abstract

PURPOSE:To form an image of high quality with respect to the electro photographic recorder. CONSTITUTION:A latent image formed on an image carrier is developed by a developing device and made into a toner image. In the electrophotographic recorder transferring the toner image to paper at a transfer device, an elimination means eliminating fogging toner stuck on a non image part of an image carrier is provided in the middle of the developing device and the transfer device. The elimination means is a rotatable fur brush provided with a fur tip in sliding contact with the image carrier surface at a specified density and pressure. The specified density and pressure is constituted to be such eliminating fogging toner stuck on the non image part without causing turbulence to the toner image stuck on an electrostatic latent image.
