Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect a subbase course roadbed from infiltration of rain water in a rainfall by providing a water-proof layer between a drainage asphalt mix ture and lower layer asphalt mixture to drain on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:After existing pavement in cut by about 4-5cm, a solvent type adhesive material containing an asphalt rubber used as a road bridge reinforced concrete floor plate water-proof agent is scattered by about 0.4l/m<2>. Next, after asphalt coating film heating type water-proof material is scattered by about 1.2-2.0kg/m<2> at a time on the water-proof material, drying sand is uniformly scattered by about 1.0kg/m<2> and a drainage mixture is paved thereon, so that the existing pavement can be repaired into drainage pavement.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In recent asphalt pavements, open-grain type drainage pavements have been put into practical use. This drainage pavement improves visibility during rain, suppresses hydroplaning, and suppresses water splashing, thereby ensuring vehicle driving safety. Its feature is that it has a sound-absorbing effect that absorbs noise during driving at the location where it is generated. Paving that exhibits such performance uses an asphalt mixture with a high porosity in the surface layer, and has a structure in which rainwater permeates through the surface layer and drains at the base layer surface. However, in most conventional pavement structures, impermeable asphalt mixtures (such as dense-grained asphalt mixtures, fine-grained asphalt mixtures, and dense-grained gap asphalt mixtures) are used on top of the base layer. The idea is to drain rainwater from the surface of the road using the cross slope. The current method of constructing drainage pavement is to cut the existing pavement, install drainage structures, and then pave the drainage mixture. In addition, in the case of new construction, a drainage mixture is paved on top of the base layer. However, when cutting existing pavement, a coarse-grained asphalt mixture is generally revealed when cutting to the surface of the base layer mixture. Coarse-grained asphalt mixtures themselves are less water-impermeable than asphalt mixtures for surface layers, so rainwater permeates through the surface layer, or if cracks occur in the surface layer, more rainwater permeates into the roadbed and subgrade. Under these conditions, if a drainage mixture is paved, rainwater will permeate into the subgrade and subgrade during rainfall, increasing the moisture content of the subgrade and subgrade, causing a decrease in supporting strength. It is possible that the pavement itself will be destroyed during service.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] The problem to be solved is that rainwater during rainfall permeates through the drainage pavement, reaches the base surface, and then penetrates into the roadbed and subgrade, supporting the subgrade and subgrade. This is the point where strength and durability are reduced.
