Abstract

PURPOSE:To dry a photosensitive material in high finishing quality in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A film F is dried by the radiation heat supplied from an ultrared ray heater (not shown on the figure) in the first drying part 86 and the dry air which has a high temperature and is supplied from a spray pipe 47, and transported into the second drying part 92 before an excessively dried part is formed. Into the second drying part 92, the air which is dehumidified by a dehumidifying device 155 and has a low temperature and low humidity is supplied by a blower 166, and the film F is dried without being heated in the second drying chamber 92. Accordingly, the heating for the film F to the generation of the excessively dried part on the film F is prevented.

Detailed Description of the Invention [0001] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a photosensitive material processing apparatus and a photosensitive material processing apparatus.
This invention relates to a method for drying optical materials. [0002] With the progress in the electronics field,
Processing speed is also essential in the field of silver halide photographic processing.
It is becoming more and more sought after. Especially graphic arts feeling
Photosensitive materials such as materials, scanner materials, and X-ray materials
The need for rapid processing of fees is increasing
. The rapid processing referred to here means, for example, that the leading edge of the photosensitive material
After being inserted into a photosensitive material processing device such as a dynamic developing machine, it is developed,
It passes through a processing section consisting of fixing, washing, etc., and a drying section before being exposed to light.
The time it takes for the tip of the material to come out of the drying section is 20 seconds ~
This refers to a process that takes 60 seconds. These processes
Simply increase the transport speed of the photosensitive material processing equipment to shorten the time.
If you do this alone, various problems such as poor fixing and drying may occur.
Ru. [0003] In connection with this fixing failure, increasing the fixing speed
It is known to increase the concentration of thiosulfate for the purpose of
. In addition, the film surface of the photosensitive material is hardened to improve drying properties.
For this purpose, a water-soluble aluminum compound is included in the fixer.
It is also known and widely used. however
Water-soluble aluminum compounds reduce the fixing speed due to their hardening effect.
In order to speed up the fixing speed, it is necessary to add
does not contain any water-soluble aluminum compounds, or
If it contains only a very small amount, it will not be applied to the photosensitive material.
It is said that the swelling rate of the emulsion increases and the drying properties deteriorate.
There was a problem. In addition, a water-soluble acrylate that is a hardening agent in the fixer is used.
Although fixing speed can be improved by reducing the amount of aluminum salt,
However, it does not improve drying speed, which is important in rapid processing.
Traditionally, trials have been conducted to reduce the amount of water-soluble aluminum salts.
Very little was done. [0004] On the other hand, regarding the drying defect, the present application has already been filed.
Humans perform the drying process at high speed and ensure high finish quality.
We are proposing a drying device for photographic film processors that maintains the

A drying device for a drying machine includes a plurality of drying chambers, and
It supplies drying air to the photographic film passing through the drying chamber.
In addition, the moisture content of the photographic film after drying and the moisture content in the outside air.
The temperature inside the drying chamber on the most downstream side is adjusted so that the
The photographic film is dried under controlled conditions. Problem to be Solved by the Invention However, the drying section
In photosensitive material processing equipment such as automatic processors equipped with
Photographic film is heated and dried when it is processed.
It may become over-dry in some areas, which may cause the finish to deteriorate.
In some cases, the quality deteriorated. In other words, automatic developing machine

into the drying section, but the squeezing may not be done accurately and evenly.
The surface of the photosensitive material fed into the drying section is
has a lot of moisture attached to it. For this reason, moisture
Drying occurs in areas with a lot of adhesion and areas with no adhesion.
The progress is different, and there are areas where the drying progress is slow on the surface of the photosensitive material.
When drying is performed to achieve proper drying conditions
, the parts where drying progresses quickly are in the lapse rate drying stage in the late drying stage.
After drying properly, it receives a lot of heat. As a result, the areas where the drying progresses quickly become overdried.
, the emulsion layer shrinks and very thin wrinkles appear on the surface. Areas that have wrinkles due to over-drying and areas that are not over-dried.
Since the light reflectance differs between dark areas, it is possible to visually check whether the area is dry or not.
It may be confirmed as
was. [0006] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above facts.
allows for drying with high finish quality in a short period of time.
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a photosensitive material processing apparatus that has the following characteristics. [0007] Furthermore, the present invention provides high finish quality in a short time.
To obtain a drying method for photosensitive materials that can be dried in
is the purpose. [Means for Solving the Problems] The invention according to claim 1 includes:
At the downstream side of the processing section where photosensitive materials are transported and processed,
a first drying section equipped with a heating means for heating the photosensitive material;
The first drying section is provided on the photosensitive material exit side of the first drying section.
The above-mentioned exposure before over-dry areas occur due to drying
A second drying section into which the material is introduced, and a low
A supply means for supplying warm and low humidity air.
Ru. [0009] The invention according to claim 2 provides that the processing section
The photosensitive material is immersed in a fixer solution containing substantially no hardener.
It has a fixing processing section that performs a fixing process by dipping. [0010] The invention according to claim 3 is a method for heating a photosensitive material.
before drying the photosensitive material and causing overdry areas on the photosensitive material.
Dry the photosensitive material with low temperature and low humidity air.
let [0011] The invention according to claim 4 is a method for drying a photosensitive material.

% or less. [Operation] In the invention according to claim 1, in the first drying section,
Heat and dry the photosensitive material. For example, in the first drying section
Squeeze is performed in the previous stage, and this squeeze is accurately evenly distributed.
The photosensitive material is partially hydrated due to not being processed at the same time.
If the product is brought into the first drying section with a large amount of
Areas to which no moisture has adhered will dry quickly. but
The photosensitive material is dried in the first drying section to remove overdry areas.
It is carried into the second drying section before this occurs. Inside the second drying section
is supplied with low-temperature, low-humidity air, and the photosensitive material is heated.
It dries without any drying. In this way, over-dry areas occur.
Since the photosensitive material is not heated to
There is no shrinkage and uneven drying, and a high finish is achieved.
You can get better quality. Also, it is supplied into the second drying section.
Because the air is low humidity, high-quality finishes can be achieved in a shorter period of time.
Can be dried with a crisp quality. [0013]The photosensitive material carried into the second drying section is
It is sufficient as long as it does not cause over-dry areas, for example, if it adheres to the surface.
If the water on the surface has almost evaporated, or if the water has adhered to the surface,
It may be transported in a state in which all the components have evaporated. [0014] Furthermore, the first drying section and the second drying section may be
It is not necessary to configure it with one drying room, but with multiple dryers in the drying section.
Amount of heat divided into drying chambers and supplied to photosensitive materials in each drying chamber
For example, change it depending on the drying condition of the photosensitive material.
You may. [0015] In the invention according to claim 2, in front of the first drying section,
At least the photosensitive material is
fixing by immersing the material in a fixing solution that contains virtually no hardener.
May be processed. In this case, the material substantially contains a hardening agent.
Non-fixing refers to the coating film of a photosensitive material immersed in a fixing solution.
This means that there is virtually no dura mater, and more
Specifically, water-soluble acetic acid, which is a hardening agent used in fixer,
