(Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a patch used for pain relief, anti-inflammation, poultice, etc. (Prior Art) Patches have been used for pain relief such as pain in muscles and joints, and for anti-inflammatory purposes. In these patches, a paste-like external medicine that usually contains drug powder and essential oil components is added with a substance such as kaolin or glycerin that has adsorption power, heat content, and moisture retention, and is then added to a paste such as cotton flannel. The drug is applied to one side of the base fabric, the surface of the drug is covered with release paper, and when used, the release paper is peeled off and applied to the affected area, thereby preventing bruises, sprains, etc.
It is used for stiff shoulders and muscle pain. However, such conventional patches, such as dry-type patches that are made by mixing drugs into a plaster-like adhesive used for chronic diseases, have good adhesion due to the adhesive and have a high effect of drug penetration into the skin. There is no cooling effect as there is no water retention function. In addition, wet-type poultices used for acute diseases have the effect of removing the heat of vaporization from the inflamed area, but on the other hand, the adhesion of the drug is weak and the hydration power is limited, so it may not last long. There were various disadvantages such as the inability to obtain a cooling effect. Therefore, the inventor of the present invention first provided a drug layer on one side of a water-permeable base fabric and a water-insoluble, highly water-absorbent resin layer on the other side, and impregnated this layer with cold or hot water. devised a patch that had a cold or warm compress effect by penetrating the drug layer (Utility Model Publication No. 58-52253)
However, when using a hot compress, the hot water cools down quickly and the temperature drops, making the compress less effective. (Purpose of the invention) The present invention improves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional methods, and can be used for both dry plaster-like preparations and wet plaster-like preparations. The object of the present invention is to provide a patch that can be used for both pain relief, anti-inflammation, and poultice. (Problems to be solved by the invention) For the purpose mentioned above, the present invention is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent that can be used both in a dry form such as an plaster-like preparation and in a wet form such as a poultice, and can be used either hot or cold. Alternatively, a holding part is provided above the medicine to accommodate an exothermic agent that generates heat by reacting with water for hot compresses, or a cold water retaining material for cold compresses, so that it can also be used for compresses. It is. (Means for solving the problem) An adhesive layer is laminated on the outer surface of one of the base fabrics of a support in which a water-insoluble water-absorbing resin is held between two base fabrics in the form of a sandwich, and the adhesive layer is laminated on the outer surface of one of the base fabrics. The fabric has a structure in which a holding part is formed on the outer surface of the cloth to hold a heating element that generates heat by reacting with water and has an opening for putting in and taking out the heating element, and the adhesive contains a drug that has skin permeability. This problem was solved by using iron oxide and excipients as the main ingredients of the heating element. The base fabric used in the present invention is mainly a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric, and hydrophobic fibers such as polyester, non-woven fabrics of hydrophilic fibers, etc. are used. Water-insoluble super absorbent resins include, for example, starch graft-polymerized with acrylonitrile, acrylic acid, acrylamide, vinyl acetate, or cellulose graft polymers obtained by graft-polymerized cellulose pulp with acrylonitrile, acrylamide, acrylic acid, etc. Alternatively, hydrolysis of carbomethylated polysaccharides such as cellulose, starch, and xatone, or crosslinked synthetic resins mainly based on acrylic polymers, and partially crosslinked polyoxyethylene and starch-polyacrylonitrile copolymers. It consists of a partially crosslinked starch-polyacrylic acid copolymer, a hydrophilic salt, a partially crosslinked reaction product such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, and polyvinyltoluenesulfonic acid. Although these powders have been used for a long time, they have 10 to 40 times more water absorption and water retention power than water-absorbing materials such as cotton, cloth, paper, or sponge, and 200 to 400 times their own weight, and they hold the same amount of water even in cold water. In addition to this, it is expected to have a large water absorption effect even in a small amount, so it is advantageous because it can be used in a thin sheet form, and it can also absorb sweat without escaping. On both sides of this water-insoluble superabsorbent resin layer, two base fabrics made of the above-mentioned non-woven fabric are stacked in a sandwich pattern, and an adhesive layer is laminated on the outer surface of one of the base fabrics. If ingredients such as anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs such as methyl salicylate and menthol, decongestants such as nonylic acid vanillylamide, and disinfectants such as thymol are mixed into the drug, these drugs will be efficiently absorbed through the skin and their effects will be sustained. It is. For the other base fabric, a holding part made of a similar non-woven fabric or the like is provided on top of it, and one edge is left open and the other edge is sealed with heat welding or adhesive. Apply release paper to the outer surface of the layer. For example, the structure is as shown in the external view of FIG. 1 and the explanatory view of the XX cross section of FIG. 2, or the external views of FIGS. 3, 4, and 5. (Function) Since the present invention has the above-mentioned structure, when it is used, the release paper can be peeled off and the treatment can be performed in the same way as a conventional patch, but it can also be used extremely easily and effectively as both hot and cold compresses. be able to. Compress therapy has the effect of promoting or suppressing biological reactions by applying hot or cold temperature stimulation to the body. “Warm” stimulation dilates blood vessels, improves blood circulation, weakens nerve sensitivity and reduces pain.
Cold stimulation has the effect of temporarily constricting blood vessels, causing hemostasis, and dissipating heat. Warm and cold compresses are used depending on the situation; as a general rule, warm compresses are used for inertial pain caused by impaired blood circulation, and cold compresses are used when the pain and swelling is severe in the acute phase, such as when the patient has a strained lower back. For example, bruises,
When a sprain first occurs, subcutaneous bleeding occurs due to tears in the muscles and ligaments that connect the joints, or the bags that enclose the joints, so first apply a cold compress to constrict the blood vessels to control the bleeding, and then apply heat. Switch to a compress,
The method used is to warm the clotted blood in the bleeding area to absorb the drug. In this way, hot and cold compresses are extremely effective treatment methods, but the patch of the present invention can be used for both hot and cold treatments. Iron oxide in a water-permeable pouch is inserted into the retention band of the structure and reacts with water to generate heat. Therefore, the adhesive patch of the present invention has a wide range of uses, as it can be easily used for both hot and cold compresses (or even dry compresses) because the heating element is easy to insert, remove, and handle. , it has the feature of operation and effect that the effect of hot and cold compresses is remarkable. (Embodiments) Although the present invention is constructed as described above, it will be explained in more detail below with reference to the illustrated embodiments. 1
is a nonwoven base fabric made of hydrophilic or hydrophobic fibers, such as polyester fibers, and the above-mentioned adhesive (medicine-containing) layer 2 is laminated on the outer surface of the base fabric. An insoluble superabsorbent resin layer 4 is placed. A heating element holding part 6 made of a similar nonwoven fabric is provided on this base fabric 5, and the peripheral edge is heat-sealed (sealed part 8) as shown in FIG. A holding portion 7 is formed. 3 is a release paper attached to the outer surface of the adhesive layer. Further, FIG. 2 shows that iron oxide, etc. is
It is a cross-sectional view of a bag B containing a heating element powder that generates heat when it interacts with water is inserted. The holding part 6 is configured so that the heating element is placed and held on the base fabric 5 and can be inserted into and removed from the stacked state at will. End holding part 7 with an open end edge
3, the design may be such that a plurality of end holding portions 7 are formed, as in the embodiment shown in FIG. Further, as in the embodiment shown in the perspective views shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the holding part is tape-shaped (tape-like holding band 6'), and both ends of the holding part are thermally bonded to the outer surface of the base fabric (heat-sealed part 8'), it may be something that holds a heating element. There are other types of heating elements, but they do not cause low-temperature burns41
Iron oxide is most suitable for maintaining temperatures of ~42°C. Since the present invention is configured as described above,
The patch before adding water is very thin and light, making it convenient to carry, and can be flexibly effective by using water or a separate heating element as needed. (Effects) The effects of the patch of the present invention were investigated. Namely, the patch of the present invention has a cold compress type in which water is added to the water-insoluble superabsorbent resin layer, a warm compress type in which a heating element is placed on top of water, and a plaster type that does not use water or a heating element. The mold was attached to the shaved skin of the rabbit's back. The chemicals added to the adhesive layer are as follows. Drugs administered per 140cm 2 of this patch: Methyl salicylate 150.0mg L-menthol 63.0mg DL-camphor 14.0mg To measure the transdermal absorption of the main ingredient, methyl salicylate, blood samples were collected over time to determine the salicylate and its metabolites in the plasma. Table 1 shows the results of quantifying the total amount of salicylic acid.

[Table] In other words, the AUC (area under the blood concentration curve) increases in the warm compress type. AUC refers to the area under a blood concentration curve within a specific elapsed time, and specifically indicates the cumulative amount of blood concentration within the elapsed time. Therefore, for example, the AUC value from immediately after administration to 12 hours indicates the amount of absorption of the drug, that is, the magnitude of the absorption rate, and the cold compress type is better than the plaster type, and the warm compress type is better than the cold compress type. It can be seen that the absorption rate of the drug is good. Figure 6 is a graph showing changes in salicylic acid concentration in the plasma of domestic rabbits.
b indicates a cold compress type, c indicates a plaster type,
The vertical axis shows the salicylate plasma level (unit: μg/
ml), and the horizontal axis shows the elapsed time (h) after adhesion. Table 1 and FIG. 6 clearly show that the absorption rate of salicylic acid is high in the hot and cold compress types. In other words, in the case of a warm compress type, the concentration of the drug in the blood increases extremely high in a short period of time, and the absorption effect continues. In addition, in the case of the cold compress type, the absorption rate is lower than that of the hot compress type, but the absorption rate maintains a stable value and has sustainability, and is not inferior to the plaster type. Moreover, the cold compress type also has the effect of cooling the feverish area, providing pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects. Furthermore, the patch of this invention has a safe and long-lasting compress effect, as it maintains the heat generation temperature at around 41-42 degrees Celsius, which is a temperature that is effective as a hot compress and does not cause low-temperature burns. This is also clear from the graph in FIG. 7, which shows the change in skin temperature of rabbits using the patch of the present invention. In the figure, p indicates the skin temperature of the hot compress type patch of the present invention, q indicates the skin temperature of the plaster type patch, and r indicates the skin temperature of the cold compress type, all of which maintain a constant temperature. The reason why the skin contact surface temperature of hot and cold compresses can be kept constant is that the water activity of the patch of this invention (amount of water evaporation = amount of water used) is higher than that of conventional products and is always constant. One of the characteristics (of water-insoluble super absorbent resin) is that the amount can be sustained by maintaining the volatilization rate. Figure 8 shows the test results of measuring the water activity of the patch of the present invention and conventional commercially available products. It is. The patch of the present invention was used by adding water to match the weight of the conventional patch, about 20 g, to give a total weight of 20 g. Measurements were made by placing the devices side by side in a constant temperature room at 34℃, and plotting the amount of water used after 2, 4, and 6 hours on the left vertical axis and the water utilization rate on the right vertical axis, and finding the relationship between the amount of volatilization and the rate. Although the water activity rate per hour of the agent is always constant and shows a high volatilization amount, it decreases considerably after 4 to 6 hours, and there is no agent that has a sustained high volatilization effect. In the figure, the ○ mark indicates the activity rate after 6 hours, the □ mark indicates the activity rate after 4 hours, and the △ mark indicates the activity rate after 2 hours, and each filled-in mark indicates the amount of active water. Because the water volatilization rate of the water-insoluble superabsorbent resin is constant, the exothermic temperature can be adjusted to a constant level, and the resin absorbs water and forms a gel-like layer that provides a moderate amount of contact with the skin. Through the synergistic effect of the buffering effect that transmits temperature and the ability to adjust the temperature through the combination of the heating element's iron oxide and excipients, the patch of this invention controls the heat generation temperature to around 41-42℃. It will be done. Furthermore, as a heating element, a material that absorbs water and generates heat is suitable, specifically iron oxide, etc. These are extremely easy to handle, and there is no need to seal or squeeze the heating element like a disposable body warmer. do not have.
