Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in this type of information recording and reproducing apparatus, position data corresponding to each address on a disk is calculated logically in advance, and the position data is stored in a non-rewritable memory (ROM) or a rewritable memory 1.1 (RAM). ) as a table,
When access to a certain address is specified, the position data corresponding to this specified address is read from memory,
A disk access method was used in which the head was moved according to this position data.

In order to do this, a linear motor, etc. for moving the head was driven.

As shown in the figure. First, the process of moving the head according to the position data in the memory corresponding to the specified address as described above is performed (part A), and at the position where this head movement is completed, the necessary data is transferred based on the address read from the disk. A track jump is performed (part B), and the address read from the disk is checked (part C).

It will happen. Further, the influence of friction in the head transfer system inevitably varies from device to device, and also changes over time, which can also cause positional deviation. Because of this positional deviation, when accessing the innermost or outermost circumference of the disk, if the head is moved according to the position data in the memory corresponding to the specified address, the recording film or track groove on the disk As a result, the servo system for moving and tracking the head becomes unstable or oscillates and becomes uncontrollable, resulting in the above-mentioned problems.

If multiple address ranges in the innermost and outermost zones are set as the inner zone and outer zone, and access to an address that does not belong to either the inner zone or the outer zone is specified, this specified address will be supported. The address for recording or reproducing information on the disk is transferred according to the position data in the memory, but if access to an address belonging to the inner zone or the outer zone is specified, the address to which it belongs is transferred. The head is moved according to positional data specific to the inner circumferential zone or the outer circumferential zone.

アクセスが可能となる。Effect: According to the above-described disk access method of the present invention, by appropriately determining the widths of the inner zone and the outer zone and positional data specific to each zone, it is possible to easily replace disks and adjust the transfer system for each device. Regardless of positional deviations due to variations in friction or changes over time, this prevents the head from jumping out into areas where there is no recording film or track grooves when accessing the innermost and outermost areas, ensuring stable and high speed operation. Disk access becomes possible.

。Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, when accessing an address belonging to a preset inner zone or outer zone on a disk, the present invention provides access to an address that belongs to a preset inner zone or outer zone, regardless of the location data corresponding to the address stored in the memory. By performing head movement using zone-specific position data, when accessing the innermost or outermost periphery of a disk, variations in center hole diameter and shape for each disk and head movement for each device can be avoided. This absorbs the effects of variations in diameter friction and changes over time, and prevents the head from jumping out into areas where the recording film does not yet have track grooves, which would cause the servo system to oscillate and become uncontrollable due to instability. This has the effect of enabling more stable and faster disk access than conventional methods.
