Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of water from a stitched part by stitching a waist cloth to the cylindrical uppers formed by sewing a cloth to a cylindrical shape and combining the cylindrical uppers which do not expose the sewing thread on the inside surface and a main sole. CONSTITUTION:A back cloth 7 sewn to a cylindrical shape is stitched to the cylindrical uppers 10 formed by sewing the cloth likewise to the cylindrical shape, and thereafter, the waist cloth 2 is stitched to the cylindrical uppers 10 in the state of drawing out the back cloth 7. A resin is then applied to seams 5 from the rear side of the cylindrical uppers 10 to seal the seams and to prevent the penetration of the water via the sewing thread 4. Further, a waterproof tape 6 subjected to a waterproof treatment is stuck thereto and the back cloth 7 in the drawn out state is turned back and inserted into the cylindrical uppers 10, by which the back cloth covering the waterproof tape 6 is laminated on the cylindrical uppers 10. The cylindrical uppers 10 are then stitched together with the back cloth 7 laminated thereon to an insole 13 and is combined with the main sole. The sewing thread 4 does not penetrate the waterproof tape 6 and back cloth 7 of the cylindrical uppers 10 and, therefore, the penetration of the water is prevented.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, waterproof materials are used as the upper material of shoes. However, when forming shoes, it becomes necessary to sew many decorations, reinforcements, loincloths, etc. to the upper for the sake of design and functionality, and for this reason, a highly waterproof upper material is used. However, water often seeped through the seams, significantly reducing its waterproof properties. or,
In order to prevent water from seeping through the seams, resin was applied from the back side of the seams as a filler, or waterproof tape was applied to prevent water from seeping through.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] As described in the prior art, decorations, loincloths, reinforcements, etc. are sewn onto the upper, resin is applied from the back side, and waterproof tape is attached. A lining fabric is layered on top of this to prevent water from seeping through the seams, but it is impossible to sew the ends of the loin cloth unless the sewing thread is exposed to the inside by penetrating the lining fabric. Therefore, water gradually seeps through the seams and permeates the entire surface of the lining fabric due to capillary action, so we have used waterproof upper material, sealed the seams with resin, and pasted waterproof tape. However, it is difficult to achieve sufficient waterproof function. Furthermore, it is extremely difficult to apply the waterproof tape to the narrow part of the toe using the fingertips. The present invention has been made to solve these drawbacks.

[Means for solving the problem] A cylindrical upper made by sewing cloth cut into a certain shape into a cylindrical shape, and a lining cloth and a loin cloth sewn to the cylindrical upper, and sealing the seams from the back side with resin etc. After applying waterproof tape, the already sewn lining fabric is laminated, and the sewing thread does not pass through the lining fabric and is exposed on the inside. It is waterproof and features a cylindrical upper that is combined with the outsole. It provides shoes.

FIG. 1 is an external view of a shoe (1) made by cylindrical sewing according to the present invention. FIG. 2 is a central cutaway view during the sewing of the cylindrical shape. The sewing process will be explained with reference to FIG. First, the lining fabric (7), which is also sewn into a cylindrical shape, is sewn to the cylindrical upper (10), which is made by sewing cloth cut into a certain shape into a cylindrical shape, and then the lining fabric (7) is pulled out (11). ), and then sew the loincloth (2) to the cylindrical upper (10). Next, resin is applied to the seams (5) from the back side of the cylindrical upper (10) to seal them, preventing water from seeping in through the sewing threads (4), and further waterproofing the seams (5). Attach the tape (6), turn over the lining fabric (7) in the pulled out state (11), and attach the cylindrical upper (10).

[Effects] The conventional method of integrally sewing the upper and the loin cloth had the disadvantage that the sewing thread was exposed on the inside of the shoe in several places, and water seeped in from those parts. Because the instep and loincloth are constructed and sewn as separate parts, the sewing threads are not exposed on the inside, making it possible to manufacture completely waterproof shoes that prevent water from seeping through the sewing threads. Ta. In addition, water intrusion from the upper part is completely prevented, increasing the functional value of the product, and by providing a free seam in the upper part, the product value of the design can also be increased. It is possible to provide shoes with high added value.
