In recent years, attention has been focused on the importance of preventing leakage from the waist area of this type of diaper, and several solutions have been proposed. One typical example of this is as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-83368, in which a heat-shrinkable elastic band is provided around the waist of the diaper in place of the usual rubber band.
Hot air is used for shrinking.

However, in the first structure described above, urine often oozes out to the longitudinal ends of the diaper through the water-permeable top sheet, and sometimes leaks from the valleys of small undulations accompanying the expansion and contraction of the elastic band.

観を損う。 However, if the elastic elastic member is fixed to the sheet along its entire length, the elastic elastic member expands and contracts along with the sheet, and when it contracts, it creates numerous small, sharp wrinkles, especially on the top sheet, and these wrinkles come into contact with the wearer's skin. , which was a cause of worsening the texture of the skin. Furthermore, if hot melt adhesive is applied over the entire length of the elastic elastic member, the amount of hot melt adhesive used will increase, resulting in a cost disadvantage, and furthermore, discoloration due to aging will appear over the entire length, impairing the appearance.

も知られている。 This case is also attempted to be solved by providing elastic stretchable members around the legs along the longitudinal direction. Furthermore, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-30421, it is also known to provide a sheet for preventing leakage in the front and rear ends, straddling the edges of the absorbent body, not around the legs.

やすい。 However, when applying the latter publication description to the leg area and providing an elastic elastic member for the leg area, if the elastic elastic member is provided outward from the outer side edge of the leak prevention sheet, the side of the absorbent body Since it is far away from the edge, the pressing force of the elastic elastic member does not act as a pressing force of the absorbent body against the skin, and the private part and the liquid-permeable top sheet or absorbent body are separated by a large distance, which tends to cause lateral leakage.

に感じるようになり、感触性が悪くなる。 On the other hand, if the elastic elastic member were to overlap the leak prevention sheet, the contractile force of the elastic elastic member would be absorbed to some extent by the rigid leak prevention sheet, reducing its adhesion to the skin and causing lateral damage. Not only is leakage likely to occur, but the rigidity of the leakage prevention sheet can be felt against the skin, resulting in poor tactility.

The above problem is solved by an absorbent article having a flap portion in which a body fluid absorbent body is interposed between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and in which no absorbent body extends outward from the end of the absorbent body. On both sides of the article, the material is applied between the liquid-permeable top sheet and the liquid-impermeable back sheet in the flap portion, and extends continuously from the flap portion beyond the side edge of the absorbent body, leaving a portion that absorbs body fluids. A thin film of hot melt adhesive is applied between the upper peripheral surface of the absorbent body and the liquid-permeable top sheet, and a thin film of hot-melt adhesive is applied between the liquid-permeable top sheet and the non-liquid-permeable back sheet in the flap portion and in the thin film area around the legs. An elastic stretchable member is provided along the longitudinal direction, and the thin film is not applied to a portion of the elastic stretchable member except for both ends thereof, and is not fixed to a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet. This problem can be solved by having both ends of the elastic elastic member fixed to at least one of the liquid-permeable top sheet and the liquid-impermeable back sheet.

In the present invention, since the elastic elastic member is fixed to the top sheet and/or back sheet only at both ends thereof, the middle part is free, and the top sheet only has large folds due to contraction of the elastic elastic member, and small wrinkles do not occur. However, the tactility is improved.

A thin film of hot-melt adhesive is applied between the upper peripheral surface of the absorbent body and the liquid-permeable top sheet, leaving the upper peripheral part of the absorbent body. It is possible to prevent lateral leakage from seeping out from the surface.

I can do it. As a result, it is possible to suppress the separation between the private parts and the upper surface of the disposable diaper,
It is possible to prevent urine from moving laterally along the surface of the paper diaper and leaking.

It has excellent tactility, and since there is no thin film in the region of the elastic elastic member, the elastic elastic member presses only the liquid-permeable top sheet against the skin, resulting in excellent tactility.

A body fluid absorber 3 made of cotton-like pulp or the like is interposed between the sheets 1 and 2. Both are short, thereby forming flap portions of the sheets 1 and 2 in which no absorbent body 3 is present at both ends in the longitudinal direction and both ends in the width direction.

A hot-melt thin film 8 of approximately g/m 2 is provided, and this thin film 8 extends from the position of the elastic elastic members 4, 4 to the outer side in the entire longitudinal direction and width direction of the disposable diaper, and in the central part. A window 8a is formed through the top sheet 1 to absorb body fluids into the absorbent body 3, and therefore the upper surface of the peripheral edge of the absorbent body 3 near the top sheet 1 is covered with a hot melt thin film.
