【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、コードデータを付加し
た画像データを伝送可能な画像伝送システムに関するも
のである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】近年、画像伝送システムは、静止画像を
無線で伝送することができ、伝送速度の高速化およびエ
ラーフリー化が図られている。図５は従来の画像伝送シ
ステムの構成を示すものである。図５において、２１は
画像伝送装置、２２はビデオフロッピーディスクプレー
ヤーであり、ビデオフロッピーディスクに記録された静
止画データを画像伝送装置２１へ送る。２３は画像伝送
装置２１の画像メモリ部であり、ビデオフロッピーディ
スクプレーヤー２２から送られてきた静止画データを一
旦蓄える機能を有する。
【０００３】以上のように構成された画像伝送システム
について、以下、図６および図７を用いてその動作を説
明する。まず、電子スチルカメラで撮影したビデオフロ
ッピーディスクをビデオフロッピーディスクプレーヤー
２２に装着する（ステップ９１，９２）。次に、ビデオ
フロッピーディスクプレーヤー２２を操作して伝送した
い画像を選択する（ステップ９３）。次いで画像伝送装
置２１がビデオフロッピーディスクプレーヤー２２で選
択された画像のデータの伝送開始を指示し（ステップ９
４）、画像データの伝送処理が行なわれる（ステップ９
５）。
【０００４】次に、伝送したい画像の選択処理（ステッ
プ９３）の詳細について図７を用いて説明する。ｉをフ
ロッピーディスク内の画像番号、ｊを画像メモリ部２３
に蓄積された総画像データ量とする。まず、ｉ＝１，ｊ
＝０に初期設定する（ステップ９６）。画像ｉを選択す
るかどうか判断し（ステップ９７）、選択する場合はス
テップ９８へ、選択しない場合はステップ１０４へ遷移
する。ステップ９７で画像ｉを選択した場合、画像伝送
装置２１の指示により選択された画像ｉをビデオフロッ
ピーディスクプレーヤー２２から画像伝送装置２１へ転
送するよう指示して（ステップ９８）、画像ｉの画像デ
ータを画像伝送装置２１へ転送する（ステップ９９）。 画像伝送装置２１の内部では、ビデオフロッピーディス
クプレーヤー２２から入力した画像データを圧縮符号化
する（ステップ１００）。ここで、ｊに圧縮された画像
ｉのデータ量を加算して（ステップ１０１）、画像メモ
リ部２３のメモリ容量と比較する（ステップ１０２）。 ｊが画像メモリ部２３のメモリ容量より大きい場合はス
テップ９４へ、大きくない場合はステップ１０３へ遷移
する。ステップ１０２でｊが画像メモリ部２３のメモリ
容量より小さい場合、圧縮された画像ｉの画像データを
画像メモリ部２３に転送する（ステップ１０３）。次に
ｉに１を加算し（ステップ１０４）、撮影した画像の枚
数と比較して（ステップ１０５）、ｉが撮影した画像の
枚数より大きい場合はステップ９４へ、大きくない場合
はステップ９７へ遷移し、伝送したい枚数分繰り返し、
伝送可能状態にする。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記従
来の構成では、電子スチルカメラで撮影した画像データ
しか伝送ず、コードデータのような他の付加情報を伝送
することができないという問題点を有していた。
【０００６】本発明は、このような従来の問題点を解決
するものであり、画像データに付加情報を結合させて伝
送することのできる画像伝送システムを提供することを
目的とする。
【０００７】
【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に、本発明の画像伝送システムは、携帯端末装置とビデ
オフロッピーディスクプレーヤーとを画像伝送装置に接
続し、携帯端末装置からの指示によりビデオフロッピー
ディスクプレーヤーを制御して伝送したい画像を選択し
、その画像に携帯端末装置のコードデータを付加して伝
送できるようにしたものである。

【作用】本発明は、上記構成によって、携帯端末装置の
コードデータと電子スチルカメラの画像データとを結合
させ、コードデータを付加した画像データを伝送するこ
とが可能となる。
【０００９】
【実施例】以下、本発明の一実施例について、図１を参
照しながら説明する。図１において、１１は画像伝送装
置、１２はビデオフロッピーディスクプレーヤー、１３
は携帯端末装置、１４は画像伝送装置１１の画像メモリ
部である。ビデオフロッピーディスクプレーヤー１２お
よび携帯端末装置１３は画像伝送装置１１に接続されて
いる。
【００１０】以上のように構成された画像伝送システム
について、図２および図３を用いてその動作を説明する
。まず、電子スチルカメラで撮影したビデオフロッピー
ディスクをビデオフロッピーディスクプレーヤー１２に
装着する（ステップ３１，３３）。次に、画像データに
付加したいコードデータを携帯端末装置１３を用いて入
力し、画像伝送装置１１に接続する（ステップ３２，３
４）。次に、携帯端末装置１３の指示により、画像伝送
装置１１を経由して、ビデオフロッピーディスクプレー
ヤー１２を制御して伝送したい画像を選択する（ステッ
プ３５）。
【００１１】ここで、携帯端末装置１３の指示による伝
送したい画像の選択処理（ステップ３５）について図３
を用いて説明する。ｉをフロッピーディスク内の画像番
号、ｊを画像メモリ部１４に蓄積された総画像データ量
、ｋを圧縮された伝送対象画像の番号とする。まず、ｉ
＝１，ｊ＝０，ｋ＝０に初期設定する（ステップ４１）
。画像ｉを選択するかどうか判断し（ステップ４２）、
選択する場合ステップ４３へ、選択しない場合はステッ
プ５０へ遷移する。ステップ４２で画像ｉを選択した場
合、携帯端末装置１３の指示により選択された画像ｉを
ビデオフロッピーディスクプレーヤー１２から画像伝送
装置１１へ転送するよう指示して（ステップ４３）、画
像ｉの画像データを画像伝送装置１１へ転送する（ステ
ップ４４）。画像伝送装置１１の内部では、ビデオフロ
ッピーディスクプレーヤー１２から入力した画像データ
を圧縮符号化する（ステップ４５）。ここで、ｊに圧縮
された画像ｉのデータ量を加算して（ステップ４６）、
画像メモリ部１４のメモリ容量と比較する（ステップ４
７）。ｊが画像メモリ部１４のメモリ容量より大きい場
合はステップ３６へ、大きくない場合はステップ４８へ
遷移する。ステップ４７でｊが画像メモリ部１４のメモ
リ容量より小さい場合、圧縮された画像ｉの画像データ
を画像メモリ部１４に転送して（ステップ４８）、ｋに
１を加算する（ステップ４９）。次に、ｉに１を加算し
（ステップ５０）、撮影した画像の枚数と比較して（ス
テップ５１）、ｉが撮影した画像の枚数より大きい場合
はステップ３６へ、大きくない場合はステップ４２へ遷
移し、伝送したい枚数分繰り返す。
【００１２】このようにして伝送したい画像が選択され
ると、次にステップ３６で画像に付加したい携帯端末装
置１３のコードデータを選択する。次に画像メモリ部１
４に蓄えられた画像データとステップ３６で選択された
携帯端末装置１３のコードデータとを結合させる指示を
携帯端末装置１３から指示する（ステップ３７）。これ
により、画像伝送装置１１の内部では、画像メモリ部１
４に蓄えられた画像データとステップ３６で選択された
携帯端末装置１３のコードデータとを図４に示すデータ
フォーマットに従って結合させ（ステップ３８）、伝送
可能の状態にする。次いで携帯端末装置１３からの結合
データの伝送開示指示により（ステップ３９）、画像伝
送装置１１は画像データの伝送処理を行なう（ステップ
４０）。
【００１３】次に、上記実施例で記述したステップ３８
における画像データとコードデータの結合処理、および
その結合処理におけるデータフォーマットについて説明
する。
【００１４】図４に示すように、画像データとコードデ
ータの結合データは、伝送データの総バイト数を記入す
る領域７６、コードデータのバイト数を記入する領域７
７、伝送画像枚数を記入する領域７８、圧縮された画像
１のバイト数を記入する領域７９、圧縮された画像２の
画像データバイト数を記入する領域８０、圧縮された画
像ｎの画像データバイト数を記入する領域８１から構成
される送信管理部７１と、携帯端末装置のコードデータ
部７２、圧縮された画像１の画像データ部７３、圧縮さ
れた画像２の画像データ部７４、圧縮された画像ｎの画
像データ部７５で構成される。
【００１５】ステップ４５においてｋ＝０の場合、圧縮
された画像ｉのデータ量を「圧縮された画像データ１の
バイト数領域７９」に格納し、ｋ＝１の場合、圧縮され
た画像ｉのデータ量を「圧縮された画像データ２のバイ
ト数領域８０」に格納し、ｋ＝ｎの場合、圧縮された画
像ｉのデータ量を「圧縮された画像データｎのバイト数
領域８１」に格納する。さらに、ステップ４８において
ｋ＝０の場合、圧縮された画像ｉの画像データを「圧縮
された画像１の画像データ部７３」に格納し、ｋ＝１の
場合、圧縮された画像ｉの画像データを「圧縮された画
像２の画像データ部７４」に格納し、ｋ＝ｎの場合、圧
縮された画像ｉの画像データを「圧縮された画像ｎの画
像データ部７５」に格納する。また、ステップ３６にお
いて選択した携帯端末装置１３のコードデータをステッ
プ３７で「携帯端末装置のコードデータ部７２」に格納
し、ステップ３６において選択した携帯端末装置１３の
コードデータのバイト数をステップ３７で携帯端末装置
の「コードデータバイト数領域７７」に格納する。最後
に、ステップ３６に遷移する直前のｋの値を「伝送画像
枚数領域７８」に格納し、伝送データの総バイト数を「
伝送データバイト数領域７６」に格納する。
【００１６】結合データの伝送処理（ステップ４０）以
降、受信側での画像データとコードデータの分割処理は
送信管理部７１を参照することで可能となる。
【００１７】このように、上記実施例によれば、携帯端
末装置１３のコードデータとビデオフロッピーディスク
プレーヤー１２から読み出された電子スチルカメラの画
像データとを携帯端末装置１３からの指示により画像伝
送装置１１が結合させることにより、コードデータを付
加した画像データを伝送することができる。

【発明の効果】以上のように、本発明は、携帯端末装置
のコードデータと電子スチルカメラの画像データとを携
帯端末装置からの指示により画像伝送装置が結合させる
ことにより、コードデータを付加した画像データを伝送
することができるという効果を有する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】　　コードデータを入力可能な携帯端末装
    置と、電子スチルカメラで撮影したビデオフロッピーデ
    ィスクを再生可能なプレーヤーと、前記携帯端末装置の
    コードデータと前記プレーヤーからの画像データとを前
    記携帯端末装置からの指示により結合させて伝送可能な
    画像伝送装置とを備えた画像伝送システム。
