Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable species and characteristics of chip components to be altered easily even after they are mounted once, by providing the sockets for fitting the chip components thereinto, and by making the chip parts fitted into the sockets removably. CONSTITUTION:An electric component 5 has lead pins and is mounted on a printed board 6 by bonding the lead pins to the through holes of the board 6 through soldering. Four recessed sections 10-40 are provided on the top face section of the electric component 5 and are so constructed that chip resistors 1-4 can be fitted into them removebly. Also, in each of the recessed sections 10-40, contacts are so provided at the positions corresponding to the electrode section of the chip resistor that they are connected by the chip resistor when the chip resistor is inserted into the recessed section. For example, the socket structure, wherein the electrode section of both the ends of the chip resistor are fastened, is satisfiable. Thereby, the chip resistor having an arbitrary resistance value can be fitted into the electric parts removably.
