[Prior Art] As a conventional slope greening method, a greening base material mainly consisting of bark compost and peat moss is combined with seeds, fertilizers, water and, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-55217, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6
As described in 3-226411, etc., binders such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), vinyl acetate emulsion (vinyl acetate emulsion), and water retaining materials such as polyacrylic acid water-absorbing resin are used. Attempts are being made to stabilize greening base materials. However, with such conventional base materials using bark bark and peat moss,
The entire base material becomes dense and air permeability is lost, and drying causes the soil surface to harden and increase its hardness, resulting in poor seed germination and poor growth. . Furthermore, under the current circumstances, unless favorable conditions such as the geology of the slope and the weather overlap, heavy rains will easily wash away the curing materials and seeds, and conversely, if there is no rain, poor germination due to dryness will occur. Furthermore, since peat moss is imported from Canada and the Soviet Union, it is expensive and is expected to become difficult to obtain in the near future.
There are also problems in terms of resources.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Therefore, the present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art and has a combination of curing properties, adhesive properties, and water retention properties, and particularly aims to reduce the flow of seeds between seed sowing and germination. The object of the present invention is to provide a base material that prevents drying and withering, has good workability, and is easy to perform stable construction.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present inventors have utilized starch meal generated from agricultural products in Japan to combine the curing properties, adhesiveness, water retention properties, and air permeability necessary for geology and seed germination properties. The present invention has been accomplished by discovering that it is possible to provide a greening base material that has the following properties. That is, the greening base material of the present invention is characterized by containing (a) at least one type selected from carboxymethyl ether salts of starch meal (hereinafter referred to as CML) and (b) bark compost. These may be used in combination with soil conditioners such as peat moss, earth and sand, etc., which are commonly used as base materials for greening.

[0005] Starch lees here generally refer to lees after starch has been removed from various agricultural products, and typical examples include sweet potato starch lees, potato starch lees, corn starch lees, soybean starch lees, There are barley starch meal, wheat starch meal, arrowroot starch meal, rice starch meal, etc. CML is obtained by adding an alkali to these starch lees, then reacting with monochloroacetic acid or an alkali salt of monochloroacetic acid to cause an etherification reaction, and then purifying and drying with an aqueous methanol solution, and is the raw material for CML. The starch meal used as a starch meal may be a single product or a mixed product. In addition, the types of ether salts of CML include sodium (Na) salt and potassium (K) salt in the carboxymethyl group.
salts, lithium (Li) salts, calcium (Ca) salts, ammonium (NH4) salts, etc., but are not limited to these.

[0006] CML generally has an average degree of ether substitution by carboxymethyl groups of 0.1 to 1.5;
In particular, it is preferable to use a material of about 0.1 to 1.0, and the amount used is not particularly limited, but among greening base materials,
A proportion of about 0.1 to 20% by weight is sufficient.

[0007] Next, bark compost is made by composting bark and sawdust over a long period of time using soil bacteria.
Contains 0 to 70% moisture, but when using it, the moisture content should be 3.
It is preferable to use it at 0% or less.

[0008] Due to the presence of CML, the base material of the present invention maintains the condition of the slope surface after seed spraying is sticky in a wet state, and the surface after spraying is soft, promoting germination and retaining water. Moreover, by using bark compost, it is possible to prevent the growth of mold and rot, which also promotes the germination of the resin.

[0009] Since CML and bark compost are generally alkaline, their use also makes it possible to produce a slope greening base material that is particularly effective in areas where the slope geology is acidic and where there is a lot of acid rain. In addition, since the base material of the present invention is an organic material, it has a good effect on effective bacteria due to biodegradation, and is also excellent in promoting the growth of plants.

EXAMPLES Next, examples of the present invention will be shown, but the present invention is not limited to these examples. In addition,
The test method in the Examples is shown below, and the test period was from September to December, and the Examples and Comparative Examples were all conducted on the same day. [Germination rate] Seeds were added to the base material consisting of CML and bark compost, mixed uniformly, and then water was added and kneaded. Sprayed with a dry mortar gun (BO type, manufactured by Nogami Seisakusho) to a thickness of 3 cm and sprayed outdoors.
(with a roof). The number of germination is determined after one week, and the percentage of the theoretical number of germination is defined as the germination rate. [Disintegration rate] Water is added to a mixture of CML and bark compost (substrate material) from which seeds have been removed from the above germination rate test, mixed, sprayed in the same manner as above, and left outdoors (with a roof). One week later, 6,000 cc of artificial rain was applied uniformly over the entire slope for 3 minutes, the amount of runoff was measured, and the percentage of the original base material was taken as the collapse rate. [Water retention rate] Add water to a mixture (base material) of CML and bark compost from which seeds have been removed using the same method as in the above test, knead the mixture, and leave it outdoors (with a roof, outside humidity at 20 to 30 degrees Celsius). One week after spraying, the water retention rate is defined as the percentage of the remaining moisture content relative to the moisture content of the base material at the time of spraying.

Examples 1 to 3 Bark compost and CML (however, the average degree of ether substitution by carboxymethyl groups from sweet potato starch meal was 0.5)
100 seeds of Weeping Love Grass were evenly mixed with 20 kg of base material containing Na salt (1) in the ratio shown in Table 1, and the mixture was placed on a concrete artificial slope measuring 37 cm long x 92 cm wide and with a slope of 60°. 15 liters of water was gradually added so that the height was 3 cm, and spraying was performed using a small mortar gun. The seeds were left outdoors (with a roof) for one week, and then the number of germination was counted and the germination rate was determined. An experiment similar to that described above was conducted except that no seeds were added, and the decay rate of the greening base material after one week was calculated.・It is shown in Table 1 along with the results of determining the water retention rate.

[Effect of the invention] The base material of the present invention has curing properties, adhesive properties,
Because it has all the water-retaining properties, there is no need to add a caking agent or water-retaining agent, and it can be used with good workability under any geological or natural conditions. It is also a by-product of agricultural products. Since starch meal is used, a base material of stable quality can be obtained very economically. Furthermore, the base material of the present invention not only prevents seeds from being washed away or withered during the period from sowing to germination, but also has quick dispersibility in water, so spraying operations can be greatly improved.
