(Prior art) As this type of spiral tube, for example,
The one published in Publication No. 117487 is known. As shown in FIG. 3, the spiral tube has a fitting part a on one side edge that is bifurcated and has a retaining part b, b disposed oppositely on the inner edge of the open end, and has a fitting part a on the other side edge. A band-shaped synthetic resin profile d having a locking part c that is slidably fitted and locked into the fitting part a is wound in a spiral shape, and the fitting parts are adjacent to each other in the wound state. A and a locking portion c are fitted to form a cylindrical shape, and a soft sealing material e is provided at a portion of the locking portion c that comes into contact with the inner wall surface of the fitting portion a. Such a spiral tube can be expanded, contracted, or bent by sliding the locking part c in the axial direction of the tube within the fitting part a, and can also be bent by sliding the locking part c in the fitting part The diameter of the pipe can be freely changed by sliding it in the circumferential direction of the pipe within a, and watertightness and airtightness can be obtained by means of the soft sealing material e provided at the locking part c. It is.

That is, in the case of the spiral tube shown in Fig. 3,
Since the soft sealing material e is provided at the location of the locking part c that comes into contact with the inner wall surface of the fitting part a, during pipe manufacturing,
The soft sealing material e may peel off when passing between the retaining portions b and b, or the soft sealing material e may become locked due to rubbing between the locking portion c and the inner wall surface of the fitting portion a after pipe manufacturing. There was a risk that it would peel off from part c.
Moreover, in this type of helical tube, when an external force is applied during pipe manufacturing, etc., the hollow fitting part a is easily dented, but this can be fixed by the locking part c. Even if an attempt is made to prevent the deformation of the fitting part a by supporting the middle part of the fitting part a, the contact part between the locking part c and the inner wall surface of the fitting part a is a soft sealing material e with a small cross section. As a result, the soft sealing material e also deforms, making it impossible to satisfactorily prevent the above-mentioned dents. There were also some problems. In short, since this spiral tube does not always support the middle portion of the fitting portion from the inside, it inherently has a problem of low rigidity in the circumferential direction.

Also, the above-mentioned Utility Model Application Publication No. 52-96414 and Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 57-
In the case of the spiral tube disclosed in Publication No. 60125, since the entire locking part is covered with a soft sealing material, it is difficult for the locking part to pass between the retaining parts of the fitting part during pipe manufacturing. For this reason, there were problems such as poor pipe-making workability. Moreover, like the former, since the intermediate part of the fitting part is not always supported by the locking part, dents are likely to occur in the fitting part, and a decrease in rigidity in the circumferential direction of the pipe due to this dent can be prevented. There were some problems that I was unable to do.

A band-shaped synthetic resin profile having a locking portion that is slidably fitted and locked into the fitting portion is wound in a spiral manner and is locked with the fitting portions that are adjacent to each other in the wound state. It is a spiral tube having elasticity and flexibility formed into a cylindrical shape by fitting two parts, and the entire length of the spiral space formed by the retaining part of the fitting part and the locking part. A sealing material is interposed across the pipe, and when the tube is extended, the sealing material restricts the movement distance of the locking part so that the locking part is located at the middle of the fitting part.

When the tube is extended, the moving distance of the locking part 2 is regulated by the sealing material 4, and the locking part 2 is located at the middle part of the fitting part 1.
Supported by Furthermore, when the tube retracts, the fitting part 1 is supported by the sealing material 4 instead of the locking part 2, as shown in FIG. In this way, the fitting part 1 is always supported by either the locking part 2 or the sealing material 4, preventing deformation in the fitting part 1 and ensuring the rigidity of the tube in the circumferential direction. Moreover, this sealing material 4 prevents water or the like from entering the inside of the pipe through the inside of the fitting part 1 from the retaining part 1a of the fitting part 1.

The sealing material 4 is for preventing water or the like from entering the inside of the pipe from the retaining portion 1a of the fitting portion 1 through the inside of the fitting portion 1. The sealing material 4 is preferably a conventionally known rubber sealing material that is generally used to ensure watertightness and airtightness, or a water-swellable rubber elastic sealing material that expands in volume when it comes into contact with water. used.
Note that the sealing material 4 is not limited to such a rubber material.
The sealing material may be made of other materials. As mentioned above, the width of this sealing material 4 is determined when the tube is expanded.
The locking part 2 is in contact with the locking part 2 and is attached to the middle part of the fitting part 1.
The width is such that it can be positioned. Further, the shape of the sealing material 4 is not limited to the elliptical cross-section shown in the figure, but may also be, for example, a square cross-section, a triangular cross-section, a polygonal cross-section, etc. The surface may be appropriately uneven. Further, the sealing material 4 may be in the shape of a tube. The sealing material 4 having this structure is inserted into the fitting part 1 at the same time as the locking part 2 is fitted into the fitting part 1 during pipe manufacturing. It may be movable in the axial direction of the tube within the tube, or it may be fixed to a fitting part 5 connected to the locking part 2 in contact with the locking part 2. In the latter case, the sealing material 4 may be fixed to the fitting part 5 via an adhesive, but at the same time the profile 3 is shaped by extrusion molding, it is also attached to the part by simultaneous extrusion molding of two layers of elastic material. It may be fixed. The sealing material 4 restricts the moving distance of the locking part 2 when the tube is expanded, and the locking part 2 is located at the middle part of the fitting part 1. It is supported by the locking part 2. Furthermore, when the tube retracts, the fitting part 1 is supported by the sealing material 4 instead of the locking part 2, as shown in FIG. In this way, the fitting part 1
is always supported by either the locking part 2 or the sealing material 4, and deformation of the fitting part 1 is prevented. Note that the interposition of the sealing material 4 is not limited to one location between the retaining portion 1a of the fitting portion 1 located on the outer circumference side of the tube and the locking portion 2, but also at the inner circumference of the tube. It may also be interposed between the retaining part 1b of the fitting part 1 located on the surface side and the locking part 2. Further, the shape of the locking portion 2 is not limited to the triangular shape shown in the illustrated example.

(Effect of the invention) As explained above, the spiral tube of the present invention has a helical space formed on the outer peripheral surface side and the inner peripheral surface side of the tube by the retaining part and the locking part of the fitting part. ,
At least over the entire length of the space located on the outer peripheral surface side of the tube, when the tube is extended, the moving distance of the locking portion is restricted so that the locking portion is positioned in the middle of the fitting portion,
A sealing material is inserted to support the middle part of the fitting part and prevent the fitting part from denting when the pipe retracts, so when the pipe is extended, the locking part is used to seal it, and when the pipe retracts, the sealing material is inserted. Since the middle part of each fitting part is supported by the material, no matter how the tube is expanded or contracted, the fitting will hardly be dented by external force, and the profile will be prevented from deforming. , and the desired rigidity can be obtained. In addition, as in the conventional example described above, the sealing material may peel off when passing through the retaining part during pipe manufacturing, or the sealing material may peel off when the retaining part and the inner wall surface of the fitting part rub against each other after pipe manufacturing. There is no problem of peeling, and favorable watertightness and airtightness can always be obtained.
