  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 規則的に配置されたドツトパターンを有し
    た液晶表示部と、この表示部の背面に配置された
    背面照明としてＥＬ（エレクトロルミネツセンス
    ）パネルとを具備する液晶表示装置において、 前記ＥＬパネルの透明電極が、前記液晶表示部
    のドツトパターンに対して１０度乃至８０度の角
    度差を持つて規則的なパターンを有した導電性金
    属薄膜にて導電性を補強されてなることを特徴と
    する液晶表示装置。 (2) 前記導電性金属薄膜が、ドツトパターンに
    対して４５度の角度差を有したパターンで形成さ
    れていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範
    囲第１項に記載の液晶表示装置。
