In conventional coin feeding devices, coins are fed onto a rotating disk, and the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotating disk moves the coin to its periphery, allowing only one coin to pass above the periphery of the rotating disk. A coin thickness regulating member disposed at a height of 100 cm allows the coins to be layered in a single layer in the thickness direction and sent from the rotating disk to the coin passage extending outward, and onto the conveyor belt provided above the upper surface of the coin passage. Therefore, the coins are conveyed while being pressed against the upper surface of the coin passage, and after performing necessary processing such as counting or identification, the coins are sent out of the device.

The coins sent to the coin passage by the rotating disk are conveyed by being pressed against the upper surface of the coin passage by a conveyor belt provided above the upper surface of the coin passage, so the upper surface of the coin passage is abraded by the coins. ,
A material with a small coefficient of friction and excellent wear resistance must be selected for the coin passage, and since such materials are very expensive, this becomes an obstacle when considering cost reduction of the device. Furthermore, with this type of conveyance method, the coins being conveyed are easily damaged, the durability of the conveyor belt is reduced, and additional equipment is required to urge the conveyor belt along the coin path and move it up and down. There was a problem that a force support mechanism was required and the mechanism became complicated.

In addition, since separate dedicated motors were directly installed to drive the conveyor belt and rotating disk,
Two motors are required, which increases the cost, and each motor needs to be installed in two locations, making it difficult to utilize space. In addition, the conveyor belt and rotating disk are driven and controlled by separate motors. For example, if the driving of the rotating disk is not stopped even though the driving of the conveyor belt is stopped, coins may be pushed into the coin passage from the rotating disk, causing a coin jam, or the driving of the rotating disk may be stopped. If the drive of the conveyor belt is not stopped at the same time, a problem occurs in the flow of coins, such as when the conveyor belt runs idle even though no coins are fed into the coin passage.

The coins supplied onto the rotating disk 11 move to the periphery of the rotating disk 11 due to the centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the rotating disk 11, and then move along the periphery.
The coin is moved toward the center of the rotating disk 11 by the coin guide piece 24. Then, when the coin guide piece 24 reaches the end and is no longer restricted, the coins in the lowest layer touching the upper surface of the rotating disk 11 are transferred to the rotating disk 11.
Due to the centrifugal force of 1, the coin jumps out in the direction of the coin and enters under the coin thickness regulating member 25.

According to the present invention, the coin conveying belt is disposed in a protruding state from the lower side of the coin passage onto the coin passage,
Since the coins sent from the rotating disk to the coin passage are carried on a belt, there is less contact pressure between the coins and the coin passage, and there is less wear on the coin passage. There is no need to use expensive materials with excellent durability, which reduces the cost of the device.Furthermore, the coins transported through the coin passage are less likely to be scratched by friction with the coin passage, and the durability of the belt is improved. Furthermore, since there is no need to bias and support the belt on the coin passage surface as in the conventional case, the mechanism can be simplified.

In addition, a part of the belt that transmits rotation from the motor to the rotating disc is also used for coin transport to transport coins in the coin passage, so it is possible to drive the rotating disc and belt with one motor. It is possible to reduce the number of parts such as motors that drive the rotating disk and belt separately, which reduces the cost of the device, and also ensures that the rotation of the rotating disk and the belt start and stop at the same time. Since the timing is right, the coins can flow smoothly in the rotating disk and the coin passage without being stagnant or having gaps.
