ム5へ伝えられる。写真フィルム5の表面に付着してい
る薬剤等の汚れは超音波の作用により洗浄液2中に溶け

べて高い周波数を以上の実施例で採用したのは、実験の
結果周波数が高い方が洗浄効果において優れていること
が判明したからである。さらに、図1及び図3の円筒形
振動子はそのまま写真フィルム5に接触しているが、超
音波を透過させるプラスチック等で円筒形ローラを形成
し、そのローラの内に同軸に図1又は図3の円筒形振動
子を嵌め込んだ構造を図1又は図3の振動子に替えても
差し支えない。図1〜図4の実施例では、被洗浄物とし
て写真フィルムを示したが、印画紙、可撓性電子回路基
板、布その他の各種の可撓性シートも本発明の装置によ
り洗浄できる。また、洗浄には、上述のごとく薬剤等の
汚染物質を洗浄液中に溶出する態様と、ゴミ等の付着物
を洗浄液中に離脱させる態様とがあるが、本発明はその
