内に導入される空気との混合気塊を形成す衝突部
がピストン頂部の燃焼室内に設けられている直噴
式内燃機関において、前記シリンダのライナ外側
に配置された高周波加熱手段と、この高周波加熱
手段により加熱される耐熱性金属により衝突面と
して前記燃焼室の衝突部を覆う被加熱部と、この
被加熱部を前記燃料の噴射に先立つて前記高周波
加熱手段により加熱せしめる加熱制御手段とを具
備したことを特徴とする直噴式内燃機関。 (2) 前記ピストン及びシリンダのライナをセラ
ミツクスにより形成し、前記高周波加熱手段によ
り加熱されないようにしたことを特徴とする請求
項(1)記載の直噴式内燃機関。 (3) 前記ピストンには、その被加熱部をなす耐
熱性金属が、前記衝突部の衝突面及びピストン上
部外周面を含むピストン頂面の全体に形成されて
いることを特徴とする請求項(1)記載の直噴式内
燃機関。 (4) 前記制御手段は、前記高周波加熱手段に流
す電流を前記衝突部の温度に応じて制御する制御
回路であることを特徴とする請求項(1)記載の直
