Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 定着ローラと、この定着ローラに内蔵されて定
    着ローラを加熱するランプと、前記定着ローラの
    表面温度を検知する温度検知素子とを具えた定着
    装置において、 前記ランプが複数個用いられ、そのうち少なく
    とも１個のランプで定着ローラの通紙幅方向中央
    部の第１発光部が形成され、かつ該ランプ以外の
    ランプで定着ローラの通紙幅方向両端部の第２発
    光部が形成されており、また前記温度検知素子が
    複数個用いられ、そのうちの１個の温度検知素子
    が定着ローラの通紙幅方向中央部に設置され、残
    りの温度検知素子が定着ローラの通紙幅方向両端
    部のうちの少なくとも一端部に設置されており、
    定着ローラの通紙幅方向中央部における熱量供給
    および温度検知が、前記第１発光部が形成された
    ランプと定着ローラの通紙幅方向中央部に設置さ
    れた温度検知素子で行なわれ、定着ローラの通紙
    幅方向両端部における熱量供給および温度検知が
    、前記第２発光部が形成されたランプと定着ロー
    ラの通紙幅方向一端部に設置された温度検知素子
    で行なわれるように構成されていることを特徴と
    する定着装置。
