Such heat-resistant endless belts have conventionally been manufactured using various methods. For example, as shown in FIG.
The so-called overlap joint method, in which the belt material 10 is simply overlapped and heat-compressed, or the belt material 10 is formed into a wavy shape so that both short sides 11a and 11b interlock with each other, as shown in FIG. The so-called V cut-joint method, in which both short sides 11a and 11b of the material 10 are butted against each other to form a joint 12, and a band-shaped joining sheet 20 is laminated and thermocompressed to cover this joint 12, or As shown in FIG. 15, there is a so-called two-ply joint method in which two thin belt materials 10a and 10b are laminated and their respective short sides 11a and 11b are brought into contact with each other at offset positions and bonded by thermocompression. As shown in FIG. 16, the coating material on both short sides 11a and 11b of the belt material 10 is removed to expose the glass fibers 21, and these glass fibers 21 are woven together to form a joint 12. A film 14 or a resin liquid 1 of the same quality as the coating material of the belt material 10 is applied to both sides of the joint part 12.
There is a so-called lat press joint method in which 4 is adhesively or coated and thermocompressed.

On the other hand, in the two-ply joint method and the lattless joint method, there is a step 15 at the joint portion 13.
Although the heat-resistant endless belt joined by this method is suitable for use as the pressure belt 52 of the fabric bonding machine 50, the two-ply joint method is suitable for using two thin belt materials 10.
a, 10b are stacked, and both short sides 11a, 1
1b are butted together and thermocompressed, high processing accuracy is required, such as the dimensional accuracy of the lengths of the outer belt material 10a and the inner belt material 10b. 1
The glass fibers 21 of 1a and 11b are woven together to form the joint 12, which is difficult to process. Therefore, heat-resistant endless belts manufactured by the two-ply joint method or the lattice joint method are inevitably expensive. Then a problem arose.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a strip-shaped heat-melting film 33 is laminated on the heat-resistant release film 32, and a strip-shaped back bonding sheet 2 is further placed on top of it.
Layer 0a. The heat-fusible film 33 serves to cover the back bonding sheet 20a by heat melting and integrate the belt material 10 and the back bonding sheet 20a when the belt material 10 is joined. Teflon film 33 with a thickness of 0.0125 mm was used. In addition, the back bonding sheet 20a has a heat-resistant fiber cloth 21 as shown in FIG.
is coated with a heat-fusible coating material 22, and the end faces 24 on both longitudinal edges thereof are ground off with a grinder or the like, so that the end faces 24 form an inclined surface 23 of about 15 degrees. The back bonding sheet 20a covers the joint portion 12 of the belt material 10 to be joined, and the coating material 22 is thermally melted to strengthen the joint of the belt material 10. The inclined end surface 24, that is, the inclined surface 23 acts to eliminate the level difference between the back surface joining sheet 20a and the belt material 10, and in this embodiment, the thickness of the Kevlar fiber 21 coated with Teflon 22 is I used one with a diameter of 0.14 mm. In addition, inclined surface 2
Regarding angle 3, it is not necessary to set it to approximately 15 degrees as in this embodiment, and the smaller this angle is, the better. In addition, as in this embodiment, the back joint sheet 2
When the Kevlar fiber 21 coated with Teflon 22 is used as 0a, two sheets of the heat-melting film 33 are prepared and laminated so as to cover both edges of the back joint sheet 20a. You may. By doing so, when the belt material 10 is bonded by thermocompression bonding, the bonded portion 13 is formed thin.

Similar to the back bonding sheet 20a, this sheet is made by covering a heat-resistant fiber cloth 21 with a heat-melting coating material 22, and forming an inclined surface 23 at both longitudinal edges thereof at an angle of approximately 15 degrees. In this example, a glass fiber 21 coated with Teflon 22 and having a thickness of 0.08 mm was used. This surface bonding sheet 20b makes the bond strong like the back surface bonding sheet 20a, and also has an inclined end surface 20b.
3 is this surface bonding sheet 20b and the belt material 10
This works to eliminate the difference in level between the two. Here, glass fiber 21 is used as the surface bonding sheet 20b.
was coated with Teflon 22, and Kevlar fiber 21 coated with Teflon 22 was used as the back bonding sheet 20b because Kevlar fiber 21 has higher strength and is suitable for bonding. It would be better to use Kevlar fibers 21 coated with Teflon 22 on both sides, but this would result in a thicker heat-resistant endless belt 1.
00 is attached to the roller 51 of a fabric adhesive machine 50 as shown in FIG. However, in the present invention, it is not necessarily necessary to use Kepler fiber as the back bonding sheet 20a, and it may be the same glass fiber 21 as the front bonding sheet 20b coated with Teflon 22. Any material may be used as long as it is formed so that the end face of the edge becomes the inclined surface 23. Further, this surface bonding sheet 20b is not necessarily necessary, and in order to bond the belt material 10, the back surface bonding sheet 20a or the surface bonding sheet 20 is required.
Only one of 0b may be present.

Next, as shown in FIG. 8, the strip-shaped heat-resistant release film 32 (0.2 mm thick film made of glass fiber coated with silicon) used in FIG. 2 is laminated on top of the heat-fusible film 33. After that, the thermocompression bonding machine 40 is operated to bond each member 10, 20.
a, 20b, 32, 33, and 34 are thermocompression bonded, and the belt material 10 is joined. The thermocompression bonding conditions in this case are:
In this example, the pressure was 2 Kg/cm 2 and the temperature was 360°C.
And do it for 2 minutes. Then, while applying moderate pressure, lower the temperature to around 200℃. This is to eliminate undulations in the bonded portion 13 that is formed when thermocompression bonding is performed, and in this embodiment, the bonded portion 13 is

Therefore, according to the present invention, since the bonding sheet is made by coating heat-resistant fiber cloth with a heat-melting coating material, the coating material of the bonding sheet is thermally melted when thermocompression bonded, and the bonding sheet and belt are bonded together. It is possible to firmly join both edges of the belt material, and since the end surfaces of both longitudinal edges of this joining sheet are formed with inclined surfaces, it can be integrated with the belt material by thermocompression bonding. When the belt is bonded, the surface of the bonded portion is smooth from the belt material to the bonded sheet, that is, the bonded portion becomes a heat-resistant endless belt with no step. Further, according to the present invention, a special processing device is not required, and processing accuracy is not so important, so that an inexpensive heat-resistant endless belt can be obtained.
