現像剤担持体から潜像担持体へ静電的に移行する
現像促進領域と、現像剤が振動するのみで潜像担
持体へ実質的に移行しない振動領域との両領域が
形成される現像装置において、 現像剤担持体上の現像剤が潜像担持体に接する
領域に、前記両領域の境界部が入るように現像バ
イアス電圧を設定したことを特徴とする現像装置
