Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A metal plate bent into a substantially U-shaped cross section, in which a magneto-optical disk is housed in a case consisting of an upper half and a lower half in which a pair of upper and lower writing windows and reading windows are formed. In a magneto-optical disk cartridge, a shutter manufactured by the manufacturer is slidably attached to the outer surface of the case, and the writing window and the reading window are opened by the slide of the shutter. Parallel ribs are formed on one end of the case on both outer sides of the writing window and the reading window, and a horizontally elongated slider body having a vertically narrowed portion from approximately the center in the longitudinal direction to near one end, and the slider.
