Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to an expansion joint, more specifically, a cover material is provided in the gap between building frames through a spring member and an elastic member, and is used to prevent uneven settlement and vibration. This invention relates to an expansion joint that expands and improves the ability of a spring to respond to the relative displacement of both building frames caused by such factors.

(Prior art) In general, expansion joints installed in building frames with gaps are
As shown in Publication No. 40-31936, a supporting member is fixed to each building frame, a plurality of spring members are attached to the supporting member along the above-mentioned gap, and a cover material is fixed only to the spring member. Alternatively, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-80509, a spring receiving member is arranged between each building frame, and a cover is inserted between the spring receiving member and the cover material via a spring. There are known methods for attaching materials. All of these have a structure in which the cover material is attached via springs, so when the opposing building frames move in relatively different directions due to uneven settlement, vibration, etc., the spring member and spring receiver A spring member such as a member is bent to prevent the cover material from deforming, and the cover material can respond to the displacement. However, there is a limit to the deformation of a spring member, and if it bends beyond this spring stress limit, one spring member alone will not be able to withstand the deformation pressure and will not return to its original shape. Sometimes I put it away.
For this reason, after the structural change is completed, the pressure of the cover material against the building frame is lost, and a gap is created between the two, which may cause the cover function to be impaired or the cover material to fall off. To solve this problem, it is possible to increase the elasticity of the spring, but this has the disadvantage that the adhesion strength of the cover material to the building frame is reduced.

(Technical Problem of the Invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks, and in particular expands and improves the ability of the spring member to respond to the relative displacement of the building frames caused by uneven settlement, vibration, etc. The technical problem is to provide an expansion joint that can be kept in close contact with the building frame at all times.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the expansion joint according to the present invention fixes supporting members to building frames provided at intervals, and fixes them to each of these building frames. Both sides of a plurality of W-shaped spring members arranged at intervals within the gap are engaged with the supporting member, and the spring member is attached to the supporting member via the spring member or a holder for attaching a cover material attached to the spring member. In the expansion joint to which the cover material covering the gap is fixed, a fixing member is protruded from the center of the cover material or the holder for attaching the cover material to the back side, and the fixing member is passed through the center of the spring member. In addition, an elastic member is interposed between the tip of the fixing member and the back surface of the central portion of the spring member.

(Operations and Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the expansion joint of the present invention, the elasticity of the spring member and the elasticity of the elastic member act between the cover material and the support member. Even if the building frames move apart or approach each other due to relative movement of the opposing building frames, and the gap between the building frames becomes wider or narrower, the elastic member will not respond to the displacement in this way. Since a part of the cover material can be absorbed, the response force of the spring member is expanded and improved, and therefore the cover material is not deformed, and its end portions can always be kept in a good state of tight contact with both building frames.

In the above configuration, the cover material 4 and the support member 2,
2, the elasticity of the spring member 3 and the elasticity of the elastic member 15 act, so even if the displacement of the opposing building frames 1, 1 is large, the elastic member 15 will absorb a portion of the displacement. Since the cover material 4 is able to absorb this, the response force of the spring member 3 is expanded and improved, and therefore the cover material 4 is not deformed and can always be tightly and tightly bonded to both building frames 1, 1 at all times. That is, when the gap S between the building frames 1, 1 widens due to the movement of the building frames 1, the spring member 3 is pulled on both sides and deformed, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 3a stands out. However, at this time, the elastic member 15 expands and prevents the fixing member 8 from lifting up, so the cover material 4 is held in the same position and a gap is prevented from forming between it and the building frame 1. On the other hand, when the gap S between the building frames 1, 1 narrows due to the movement of the building frames 1, 1, the spring member 3 is pushed into the center and deformed, as shown by the dashed line in the figure, and the convex curved portion 3a is It sinks into the gap S between the building blocks. However, at this time, the elastic member 15 shrinks and the fixing member 8 is prevented from sinking, so the cover material 4
This prevents excessive force from being applied to the Note that the spring force of the spring member 3 should normally be set to be equal to or greater than the elasticity of the elastic member, and can be adjusted by rotating the fixed member 8 relative to the stop member 14. can do.

By the way, each structure of the expansion joint is not limited to the above-mentioned example. For example, a distal end portion of the stopper member 14 may be integrated with or a separate member may be engaged with the spring member 3 to prevent rotation. Further, the elastic member 15 is not limited to a coil spring. It may also be made of rubber, leaf spring, etc. In addition, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the spring member 3
In some cases, a short cover material attachment holder 16 is attached to the holder 16, and the cover material 4 is attached to the holder 16. In this case, a fixing member 8 protruding from the back side of the central part of the cover material attachment holder 16 is attached to the cover material attachment holder 16. What is necessary is just to adopt the structure which allows the spring member 3 to penetrate. Furthermore, the fifth

The spring members 3c, 3c may be integrally connected by screws or the like to form a W-shape, or an H-shape, and the spring member 3 and the support member 2,
Regarding the manner of locking with 2, the locking method may be not the locking by biting as shown in FIG. 1, but the locking by hooking. It may be a structure in which the fixing member is bent and processed, or it may be an attachment structure in which the fixing member is fitted into the cover material and locked therein.
