体の前面をケーシングカバーによつて覆う構造に
成るシヤワー装置において、内部装置に対する防
水構造をケーシングカバー端縁と壁面間をシール
する第一シール構造と、本体端縁とケーシングカ
バー間をシールする第二シール構造の二重防水構
造により構成したことを特徴とする シヤワー装置のガスケツト構造。 (2) 第一及び第二のシール構造が、Ｕ字状断面
を有する嵌合型取付基部の一端に長手方向に伸び
る密接リツプを一体的に成形したゴム又は合成樹
脂等のガスケツトにおいて、前記Ｕ字状嵌合型取
付基部の断面内にＵ字状断面を有する多数の芯部
材片から成る硬質金属製芯部材をインサート成型
して成り、屈曲部に沿設可能に構成したガスケツ
ト構造であることを特徴とする請求項１記載の シヤワー装置のガスケツト構造。 (3) 第一及び第二のシール構造を構成する上記
ガスケツト構造において、前記硬質金属製芯部材
の各隣設する芯部材片が、比較的小さい引つ張り
又は捩じり荷重によつて折断する小さい分離連結
部を介して僅かに離間する構造に成り、インサー
ト成型後の成型品の屈曲によつて各片に分離する
