Claims (1)
るように該ステアリングコラムの下側部を車体に
支持する支持部と、ステアリングコラムの上側部
に設けられ車幅方向に延びるピンと、ステアリン
グコラムの上側部に近接して設けられ車体に固定
されるチルトブラケツトと、チルトブラケツトに
形成され上記ピンが移動可能に挿通される長孔と
を備え、上記のピンを長孔の所望の位置に固定し
てステアリングコラムの上下位置調整を行うよう
にしたステアリングコラムのチルト装置において
、ステアリングコラムに車体前方への所定の荷重
入力があつたとき、該荷重によりステアリングコ
ラムが下方に移動するように、上記長孔を傾斜さ
せて形成するとともに、長孔の下端に上記荷重に
よりピンが嵌入して該ピンの動きを拘束する溝を
形成したことを特徴とするステアリングコラムの
