Abstract

PURPOSE:To save energy for paper waste treatment by making paper waste produced in an office building minute in water in each floor and gathering the obtained slurry to a centralized treatment apparatus through pipes by sucking and then treating it. CONSTITUTION:Paper waste is thrown in the nearest tearing tub 1 in each floor and when a proper amount of the waste is stored, water is injected and the resulting mixture is stirred by a stirring apparatus 10 to tear the paper waste. When the paper is sufficiently torn and the whole becomes a slurry, a solenoid valve 8 which has been closed is opened and a blower is started to make a storage tank 3 under a reduced pressure condition and the slurry S in the tearing tub 1 is sucked to the storage tank 3 through a pipe 6. When the level of the liquid in the tearing tub 1 lowers to the position slightly above a discharging outlet 11, the solenoid valve 8 is closed and the blower 4 is stopped. When the storage tank 3 is filled with the paper waste slurry S, a solenoid valve 9 which has been closed is opened to send the slurry S to a hydroextractor 5 and after dewatering, the slurry is made pulp and then the pulp is discarded. Consequently, paper waste treatment becomes easy and treatment cost is lowered.

The waste generated on a daily basis in modern office buildings is mainly paper waste such as copy paper, computer output, and report paper. As so-called office automation becomes more widespread, the proportion of paper waste tends to further increase, and according to one survey, approximately 80% of office building waste is paper.

Traditionally, paper waste generated within a building has been collected in one place by a combination of horizontal transport by hand and vertical transport using an elevator, and then disposed of as appropriate. Not only does it require a lot of manpower and expense, but it may even be difficult to collect due to a lack of manpower.

The present invention, which has succeeded in achieving the above object, is characterized in that paper waste generated in a building is subdivided underwater on each floor, and the resulting slurry is collected by suction via a pipe into a central geographical device for disposal. This paper provides a method for disposing of paper waste.

When implementing this treatment method, paper waste shredding tanks 1 are installed in one to several locations on each floor of the building depending on the floor area, and a central processing equipment 2 is installed in the basement or first floor of the building. 1
is connected to the storage tank 3 of the central processing unit 2 via a vibro. The storage tank 3 has a sealed structure, allows air to be sucked in the tank with a blower 4, and is connected to a dehydrator 5 through a pipe 7 at the bottom of the tank. The vibro between the crushing tank 1 and the storage tank 3 and the pipe 7 between the storage tank 3 and the dehydrator are provided with solenoid valves 8 and 9.
will be established. Note that the crushing tank 1 is made capable of being supplied with water and is equipped with a propeller-type stirring device 1O, etc., so that paper waste can be crushed in water to form a slurry. The central processing device 2 can also be installed on the roof of a low-rise building.

Paper waste is thrown into the nearest crushing tank 1 on the generation floor,
When an appropriate amount of water has accumulated, water may be poured into the crushing tank 1 (an appropriate amount of water may be placed in advance in the crushing tank 1), and the mixture is stirred and crushed using the stirring device 10. At this time, if a soaking time of several minutes is provided before stirring or an alkali such as aqueous soda is added, the structure of the paper will be loosened and crushing will become easier. When the paper has been sufficiently crushed and the whole becomes slurry, open the closed solenoid valve 8 and operate the blower 4 to drain the storage tank 3.
The internal pressure is reduced, and the slurry S in the crushing tank 1 is sucked into the storage tank 3 via the vibro. The liquid level in the crushing tank 1 is the discharge port 11

Once the storage tank 3 is filled with paper waste slurry S,
The solenoid valve 9, which had been closed, is opened to send the slurry S to the dehydrator 5, where it is dehydrated and turned into pulp, which is then disposed of or used for some other purpose. The blower 4 may be operated at all times except when transferring the slurry S in the storage tank 3 to the dehydrator 5, and whether it is operated only when sucking the slurry S or constantly may be determined depending on the operating frequency.

All of the above operations are centrally controlled by the control device 12, but the starting of the crushing tank 1 may be enabled at each site where the crushing tank is installed.
