  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 メモリを内蔵し、物品に付設されるデータ記憶
    ユニツトと、このデータ記憶ユニツトに対し、デ
    ータを書き込み、あるいはデータを読み出す処理
    を上位装置からのコントロールにより行うコント
    ローラとから成り、前記データ記憶ユニツト及び
    コントローラに投・受光部を備え、両者間で光に
    よりデータ授受を行う物品認識装置において、 少なくとも前記コントローラに内蔵の投・受光
    部に結合した光フアイバを備えたことを特徴とす
    る物品認識装置。
