【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は寒冷地の止水栓上方の操作空間に充填
して止水栓の凍結や、止水栓内部へのゴミの落下
を防止した止水栓用断熱防塵栓に関する。

を遮断するには充分でない状態であつた。本考案
は、従来のこのような寒冷地における止水栓の凍
結を防止する為の断熱用栓並びにこの内部に外部
から塵やゴミ等が落下するのを防止することを目
的としたものである。

旨とするものである。

本考案の詳細を更に図示した実施例にもとづき
説明する。第1図は本考案にかかる止水栓用断熱
防塵栓を用いた状態の断面説明図であり、図中1
が水道管、2が止水栓であつて、その上方に位置
する3が該止水栓2を操作する為の操作空間であ
る。通常この操作空間3は、円筒状の空間であ
る。止水栓2として、本管から各家庭へ導入した
水道管適所に設定されてなるの入口止水栓2は、
この操作空間3が浅く且つ平面矩形の筐状空間で
あるが、本考案にかかる断熱防塵栓4は、第1図
で例示した止水栓2並びに図示しないが前記のご
とき止水栓等にも種々適用されるものである。即
ち、図例で示す断熱防塵栓4は、図中5として示
す発泡合成樹脂製柱状部材、例えば発泡ポリスチ
レン、発泡ポリプロピレン、発泡ポリウレタン等
で作成した柱状部材を前記止水栓2上方の筒体
3′に設けた操作空間3に略密な状態、即ち操作
空間3の直径とほぼ等しいか、それよりも稍大径
とした柱状部材5の上端にゴム製の該柱状部材5
の外径よりも大径としたシール片6を固定し、こ
の柱状部材5並びにシール片6を貫通してボルト
7を設け、上端に吊持部8としてのリングを固定
し、先端の止めネジ9の螺合により、互いに一体
的に固定してなるものである。その全体図は、第
2図によつて示されており、この栓4を第1図の
如く、止水栓2上方の操作空間3に挿入すること
で、発泡合成樹脂製柱状部材5のもつ断熱性によ
り寒冷地における冷たい外気が操作空間3を移動
して止水栓2部分へ影響を与えることを遮断する
上に、この冷気の移動は前記発泡合成樹脂製柱状
部材5によると同時に、弾性シール片6によつて
も密に遮断されるのである。更に該弾性シール片
6を用いていることにより、操作空間3上方から
該空間3内、とりわけ止水栓2方向へ塵やゴミ等
が落下するのを防止するのである。第3図で示し
た他の実施例は、前記発泡合成樹脂製柱状部材5
の下面に止水栓2上部を外被しうる凹部10を形
成した実施例を示している。この第2実施例の栓
4を利用することにより、止水栓2上部は発泡合
成樹脂製柱状部材5の内部に抱えられた状態で断
熱がなされ、冷たい外気の影響並びに土中からの
冷気の影響を受けない状態に設定できるのであ
る。
