- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 熱昇華型或いは熱溶融型のインクが担持された
インクシートが所定角度に渡つて巻き回されるプ
ラテンローラと、このプラテンローラとの間に前
記インクシート及び受像シートを挟むとともに画
像情報に応じた熱パターンを発生しインクシート
のインクを選択的に転写するサーマルヘツドとを
備えた熱転写式記録装置において、 前記プラテンローラは、表面に弾性体層を設け
るとともに、この弾性体層が設けられた軸方向の
長さをサーマルヘツドと当接する軸方向の長さよ
り大きく設定したことを特徴とする熱転写式記録
装置に使用されるプラテンローラ。
