分岐してエアータービンハンドピース100の外
周を洗浄するための洗浄管路として構成されてい
る。術者がエアータービンの不使用時、即ちター
ビンに駆動エアーのON、OFFを制御する電磁弁
30がOFFでタービンが停止状態にあるとき、
スイツチ36をONする事により、電磁弁33が
ONとなりエアー源20からのエアーがエアー管
路105とタンク加圧管路38を経て洗浄液タン
ク10内へ導かれ洗浄液タンク内の内圧が高まる
と洗浄管路39を通つて上述の如くエアータービ
ンハンドピースの洗浄を行う。この操作は、ター
ビンヘツド部110より前記洗浄液が出始めるま
で洗浄スイツチ36を押し続け出始めるとOFF
とする。ハンドピース外周の洗浄を行う洗浄装置
1は、内周面に小孔を多数有し外周と両側面を密
封した円筒状の形状をなし、円筒内部に洗浄液を
通すべく洗浄管路392と連結するよう構成さ
れ、上記円筒内周面に設けた小孔2より洗浄液を
噴出させるようになされ、円筒内部に例えばヒダ
(不図示)等を設け、円筒状洗浄装置の内周中央
部にハンドピースを配置するようにすることが望
ましい。また、この円筒状洗浄装置は図2に示す
ように例えばスピツトンに適切なクリツプ等の機
械的着脱手段により着脱自在に保持させるように
しておけば、患者の治療が済んだ時点で、特別な
排水バケツを用いることなく、スピツトン3に洗
浄装置を取り付けるだけで簡単に洗浄が行える。
また、ハンドピース外部はアルコール洗浄等で済
ます場合には、洗浄管路392を用いず、391
のみ設ける構成としても良い事はもちろんであ
る。尚、この時にも上述の如くスピツトン3の内
面に簡単なハンドピース掛けを設けておけばハン
ドピースがスピツトン内で移動し故障したり傷が
付く事を妨げる。更に、上記洗浄、殺菌液として
は、50〜70%エタノール等を用いれば良い。この
ように洗浄液の放出は、タービンへ駆動エアーを
供給する電磁弁30をONとし、エアータービン
100へ駆動エアーを供給管路102を経て供給
すると、供給管路102内に滞留していた洗浄液
はくまなく管路内をめぐり、タービン内部、エア
ー管路内を洗浄、殺菌し、タービンヘツド110
から外部へ放出され、スピツトン3を経て排出さ
