Screen plates used when printing with various inks are ultrasonically cleaned with various chlorinated solvents, such as 1°1.1-) dichloroethane and dichloroethylene. As non-chlorine cleaning agents, alcohols such as isopropyl alcohol, ketones such as acetone, esters such as butyl acetate, etc. are used.
