を検波回路で半波又は全波整流した後、対象とす
る被検体の検査領域に対応した範囲に区分した複
数個のゲート回路に供給し、各ゲート回路毎に複
数個の異なる基準電圧を有する比較器を設け、繰
返し周波数毎にゲート回路を通過させ、基準電圧
を上まわる信号の回数を計数するカウンタを設け
、予め設定した回数Nに対し、連続してカウント
した回数が大きくなる条件をもつて、欠陥信号を
出力させることにより、ノイズと欠陥の識別を行
うと共に、比較器の出力を重み付回路に入力させ
、欠陥の大きさをまた、計数設定回数Nに比例す
る時間欠陥信号を引きのばすワンシヨツト回路と
ホールド回路により欠陥の長さを記録装置に供給
して欠陥信号のみ出力させることを特徴とする超
