する撮像部と、カバーの開放を検出するセンサと
を含み、 指紋照合部は、特定人の指紋のパターンを登録
するメモリを備えて指紋入力部からの入力画像を
前記メモリの登録パターンと照合し、 電源部は、指紋入力部および指紋照合部へ電源
を供給する電源供給回路と、この電源供給回路の
動作を制御する電源制御回路とを備えており、 電源部の電源制御回路は、前記センサによる検
出動作に応じて少なくとも指紋入力部に対する電
源供給回路の電源供給動作を制御するようにした
