認識結果について表示及び印刷の一方又は双方を
行う表示・印刷部とを具える文字認識装置におい
て、 文字パタンのフアミリフオントを判定し該判定
結果を出力するフアミリフオン判定部を具え、 表示・印刷部は、認識部から出力される認識結
果を前記フアミリフオント判定部から出力される
判定結果に基づいて表示及び印刷の一方又は双方
を行う構成としてあること を特徴とする文字認識装置。 (2) 前記フアミリフオント判定部は、文字パタ
ンの線幅、文字パタンの規格化線幅及び文字パタ
ンの黒画素数のうちの少なくとも１つの要素に基
づいて当該文字パタンのフアミリフオントを判定
するえ構成としてあることを特徴とする請求項１
に記載の文字認識装置。 (3) 前記表示・印刷部は、認識部から出力され
る前記文字パタンの認識結果を、前記フアミリフ
オント判定部で判定された当該文字パタンのフア
